New Darkness trailer emerges

If you can say one thing about Starbreeze Studios, it's that they know how to make a pretty game. Chronicles of Riddick stands as one of the best looking games on the original Xbox, and Starbreeze's latest, The Darkness, looks to do the same for the Xbox 360. GameTrailers has released the latest trailer for the game, featuring some impressive in game footage. Both the environments and the characters show off some serious polish. Everything is sharp, clear, and clean. Even better, the game looks like it might have a story that's worth seeing (the voice acting is top notch, too). Check out the trailer after the break.

The end of the trailer directs viewers to the now requisite Flash website (NSFW) for The Darkness. The website hosts some nice screen shots, trailers, wallpapers, and some bits of info about the game. Anyone looking forward to The Darkness should check it out.

Anyone excited about this game?

1. In the words of Peter Griffin, freakin' sweet. If this is anywhere near as fun as Riddick was, I'm buying.

6. This looks absolutely amazing - some truly genius gameplay elements for a first-person shooter.

And a proper, non-Youtube trailer to boot!

11. Wow! I already enjoyed the previous movies they released, the gameplay was already awesome.

Now, with this trailer added, this game will be a sure thing in my library!

14. Man this game looks really good. I wonder if he would look more like the comic book character when he transforms into the darkness?
