Speaking at GDC, Cliff Bleszinski, the mad genius behind Gears of War, noted that he'd like to see his classic platformer, Jazz Jackrabbit, on Xbox Live Arcade. Cliffy noted that many people have told him the game would be good for Live arcade. "Honestly, I'd love to see it, too," said Bleszinski, but noted that Epic is too busy to take on the task themselves. "If anybody knows a person out there that can do it for us, more power to them," he said, stating that Epic was currently focusing on Unreal Tournament 3 and a "potential sequel" to Gears of War. "Potential sequel," by the way, was said with tongue planted firmly in cheek.
So, any developers out there want to take on Jazz Jackrabbit?

It'd be awfully nice to get Jazz on XBLA.
About as non-PC-like as PC games get.

Awesome! I used to play Jazz all of the time as a kid. I would buy the game in an instant if it came out on XBLA.

Would love to see it. While most kids grew up on Mario and Sonic, I grew up with Jazz
Jackrabbit and Commander Keen and other Epic/Apogee shareware games
:)

i dunno if it's just me, but i remember these games(JJR or Comander Keen) being fun times wasters, but not having the draw of any of the REAL franchises at the time. i mean they would be a great addition to the XBLA, but not if they cost anything more than 400 points.

Holy crap, I loved this game. I used to play the shareware version everytime I went to a friend's house, who lived like 30 miles away. Just think...us having a reunion 10 years later, and me kicking her butt at it all over again :-).
