Tom Clancy's EndWar: Unit breakdown trailer
UbiSoft announces VIP EndWar demo

Attention future squad commanders. The latest UbiSoft title with Tom Clancy's name stamped on its cover -- Tom Clancy's EndWar -- is nearly upon us and the folks at The U (aka UbiSoft) have seen fit to offer a training program for very special members of the platoon.
So to recap in English. An exclusive demo of Tom Clancy's EndWar will be available for those who pre-order the title at their local GameStop. Are you one of the crazy people who assumes you are able to walk into a game store and buy a game without an outlined plan? Ha! Well, for those who aren't pre-order fans UbiSoft is currently holding a contest for access into the super-exclusive VIP demo when it launches.
BTW - spoiler alert for EndWar, the war won't end. If it did what would the sequel be called? Tom Clancy's Fluffy Pony Adventures? Think about it.

Video: EndWar's globally destructive trailer
Specially created for the Leipzig Games Convention, Ubisoft just released their latest EndWar trailer which is aimed at getting you, the consumer, pumped for worldwide EndWar shenanigans. And after giving it a watch, we're intrigued, but know our experience with the EndWar beta has already pretty much solidified our opinion of the game. But for those who didn't get in on the beta fun, what say you? You loving the trailer? You loving the EndWar? You loving life?
New EndWar beta leak features X3F shout-out [Update]

A few weeks ago we reported an EndWar beta tester leaked footage of the upcoming Tom Clancy RTS title -- non-disclosure agreement be damned. While reactions to our report of the leak were mixed, Ubisoft ended the controversy by putting the kibosh on the video. A little over an hour ago the same tester took it upon himself to upload a new clip of the beta -- which ends on July 7 -- taking our joking advice to "get a capture card, buddy."
While we don't condone the action or recommend that anyone leak footage of anything under NDA, we chuckled when our name came up. At least we know someone listens to the dog and pony show that is the Xbox 360 Fancast.
Also to give credit where it's due, it was our commander-in-chief (Rich) who threw out the capture card recommendation. Check out the footage above, before Ubisoft sends out the lawyer-ninjas.
[Thanks, Keller]

Ubisoft attacks your summer with EndWar beta, register today!

Tipsters are going mad! Mad we tell ya! Today Ubisoft has been shooting off emails to registered users inviting them to register for a chance to beta test Tom Clancy's EndWar. The Xbox 360 exclusive open beta is scheduled to run for three weeks between June and July and allow users to the real-time strategy game online in 1v1 or 2v2 matches across three multiplayer maps.
Registration is now open for the open beta and Ubisoft reminds registrants that this is an actual beta and bugs are probably going to occur. Oh and remember kids, you need an Xbox Live Gold account, at least 3GB of free hard drive space (a bag full-o-memory cards won't do!) and a pocket full of hopes and dreams to get into the beta that's sure to fill up fast. If you are lucky enough to be selected for the beta you will be notified by Ubisoft at a later time.

However it all works, we're definitely intrigued. If the voice commands really do work as well as they appear to in this video, Ubisoft may have found a solution to the console RTS problem after all.
