This week we talk about the Time article on Halo 3 that received a lot of (unwarranted) complaints last week, the Call of Duty 4 beta, luscious Team Fortress 2 action, and the mind-melting insanity that is Silent Hill V. After the break we voice our opinions on the Xbox 360 repair process and take some time to address fanboyism. Be sure that there is a sharp distinction between a fanboy and fanboyism. A fanboy -- by our definition anyway -- celebrates gaming on all levels, though he or she may lean towards console or another. One who practices fanboyism, well, they're the kind of people you avoid in the dark recesses of the internet (of which there are many). The BioShock title update is not responsiblefor the
Hitches in the game that happen sometimes where the game locks up for
a couple seconds, this happened to me before the update, and its been
roported prior to the update also..
and just to note, the game does
not simply freeze and then continue uninterrupted, there is in fact a
"jump" ..hard to explain but it is as if the image froze for a second
but your controller input still registered, so when the image comes
back to normal, you experience a jump, (like finding yourself further
in the direction you were moving when it froze-that kind of
thing)
as for Rare, they are currently working on Banjo Kazooie 3 for xbxo 360 ;)

That same stutter glitch in Bioshock happened to me as well.
It happened to me during the level where you 'spend a night with Sander Cohen.' The stutter felt almost like that of a scratched DVD where it starts and stops erratically, and it scared me into turning my 360 off for fear I was risking a bricked console somehow.

MotoGP 07 is exclusive to the Xbox 360.
I got into the beta by bullshitting my credentials...LOL
I'm with Jeff...I think the special guest for episode 35 will be Luke Smith or Frankie as it'll be just a day or two before Halo 3 launch. It should also help get the site's readership up quite a bit as I can guarantee they'll reveal quite a bit then.
Yea, Dustin...i had that video up to about 6 months ago...it was a Saleen S7 ramming into walls in different ways.
The console repair process is horrible...that process you described Rich was awesome...laughed so hard.
I'm like Dustin. I love my 360 and I can appreciate some of the other stuff on either of the other 2, but I refuse to waste/spend my money on it.

Great show guys. I'd like to think you were referring to my comment about the Halo 3 Time article, on how other sites seemed to pick it up for all the wrong reasons. Whew, I'm glad that didn't go far, because a publication like Time covering video games as a cultural event or phenomenon (rather than a pasttime) is something that we as gamers should all welcome.

I second that even with owning all three consoles, the Xbox 360 takes the majority of my time. I'll love FFXIII whenever the hell it comes out, but the Wii and PS3 just don't have enough to sustain my attention. I still have yet to play Metroid Prime 3 for more than 20 minutes. The other consoles severely lack content in my opinion.
