It's our job to inform you when new games arrive on Xbox Live Arcade. As such, we are compelled to let you know that you can now download Paperboy for your ... um ... paper delivering pleasure. We'd be lying if we said we were excited about it, though. We're sure that some of you have fond memories of the game, but we only remember relentless quarter gobbling difficulty and a premise that's not that fun to begin with. So, if paperboy floats your boat, or, more accurately, delivers your paper, then by all means enjoy it. The rest of us will enjoy the fact that Paperboy was the last remaining "retro" title on the recently announced list of Xbox Live Arcade games. Short of no game at all, we have to get something new next week.
Should you desire to subscribe to Paperboy's shenanigans, it can be had for 400 MS points.

Why Why Why, I didn't like it when it was 25 cents, I'm not gonna pay $5. M$ quit with the retro unless you plan to bring Dragon's Lair, Space Ace and Cobra command.

Dragon's Lair? Why? It's just a series of Yes/ No decisions...
Paperboy made more sense when playing the original cab with handlebars. It never really made the translation to joystick/ d-pad type controls.

Yeah - the handlebar arcade game was pretty slick - another one I liked which I'd love to see make it to XBLA was "APB - All Points Bulliten".

I'm very surprised that so many people dislike this game. It's a classic, are you guys that easily bored?

Retro gaming is for suckas. Go back and play the games you loved as a child and before you know it, your nostalgia has ruined all your good memories. I say LEAVE THEM IN THE PAST WHERE THEY BELONG! These games are semi-fun for about 5 minutes and then after the novelty wears off, you're ready for real gaming.

You realize most of the guys here were not alive before 1990, right?
Besides, Worms was supposed to be this week, but it was not certified.
Though I love the complaints, acting like:
1. They're being forced to buy the games
2. They bought the 360 for whatever XBLA has to offer. Like, "Fuck Gears of War! The Wii has SUPER MARIO WORLD!"

720°
Out Run (the original)
Toobin'
Power Drift
Thunder Blade
Kung Fu Master (though I admit it's tough without an 8-way stick)
