Xbox 360 Fanboy

I popped Fable II in for the fist time today at 1pm. I've just now looked up from it (my eyes, they need a break!) No problems at all. (Other than there is way too much to do and not enough time to do it all!)

My game freezes up. I cannot get past Bower Lake. Everytime I try to talk Theresa it freezes. So frustrating.......

Started Playing Fable 2, had freezing issues and not got the lovely RROD. Awesome, just Awesome.

yes mine froze up 4 times before i even started the childhood quests. then i made it to the ritual quest and it froze again!

I played for 3 hrs yesterday, played ~1 today and then it said disk was unreadable. I took it out, popped it back in, and the 360 made a sound similar to a light bulb going out, but not as loud. Now the 360 makes that sound every time it starts to read a game! Could it have fucked with my dvd-drive?

i just killed this guy for this quest 'the red harvest' and i got a disc unreadable message now every time i try to load my game it freezes in the loading screen, i know its not the disc or the xbox because ive tried 2 different discs and 2 xboxs...this is lameeee

Mine keeps freezing too, so I deleted the patch to see if it had something to do with that and the game kept freezing (not sure if it was because I was playing a save file that had already played online). I have to admit I did cheat in pub games so I thought maybe for some sick reason this was the consequence, so I started a new file that had not merged with pub games but it still froze. I have tried two disks and none of them work and i have gone out and bought a cooling system but the game still kept freezing. I really hoped this is fixed in the next day because I had high hopes for this game and it is a bummer I cannot even play it.

that happens to me all the time and i forget to save so when it happens i have to start all over again

Well, I got rather a bit fed up; So I traded my copy in for another at gamestop and they told me they have had a fair share of people call/come in with the same problem. So Yeah, my new copy seems to run like a gem. Weird thing is, The original copy I had gotten, Made my 360 run louder then a bloody AH 64. Yet this copy runs smooth like the rest of the games. So anyone having the same problem, id recommend trading it in; as an attempt to solve the problem at least.

mines been freezing non stop since I bought it rendering the game pretty much unplayable, really dissapointing

Me and my friend have been playing Fable 2 for over 10+ hours and the game just started to lag and lock up, I've tried everything to make it work...and nothing is doing the trick, it always seems to happen when its going from light to dark or the reverse.....

Between my g/f's game and my game, we have over 15 hours in total so far, not a single problem other than my launch 360 finally bit the dust about 5 mintues into the game and I went and got an Arcade. Should have done it sooner, so much quieter.

yeah, so i've had fable 2 for two days now and i haven't had any problems until this morning when i tried to load my saved game. the game loads, then about 30 seconds later just after i get my accrued income, the damn thing just freezes. it's driving me crazy...

I've only played this game for about 4 hours and had it freeze on me 6 times and lag like h*ll 4 times(not including trying to load the game), all required restart. 1 time said disc was unreadable... No other games freeze or lag on this machine. Issues happen when loading the save, clicking start (in game), and going to differant location.

My game freezes every time I want to do... well... anything. It's a crying shame, I was in LOVE with Fable and Fable 2 looks rediculously promising. However, it feels that they just couldn't wait any long and rushed it out... now I won't mind getting my money back.

ive tried clearing the cache and using the update the freeze happens while loading right after i hit continue story

my game froze after the cut scene with the Hero of Will where u first meet him( in brightwood) and he gets teleported off. i tried to reload but i cant it just goes to a black screen. Though i can make a new game it works fine...

I can't get further than the lionhead logo. I only got to play for about an hour before I hit the proverbial brick wall. Both annoyed and a little sad. If they don't fix it before fallout 3 comes out I'll not get round to playing it for ages.
