Xbox 360 Fanboy

i have issues with freezing up, and i posted it in the microsoft forums >:D
it happened to my AND my friend, we would both get 5 stars under blacksmith, and when u end the job and start saving, it freezes and wont let u back into the game. id select continue and the file n the game would just freeze again.
so if u havent had any problems, DO NOT get 5 star blacksmith. lol

I've had studdering happen a good few times and one complete lock up over the course of 4 -5 hours.

played for few hours seamed fine.. truned game of then what do you know freezes every few mins no matter what i do.. huge fan of fable 1 so im gutted. even freezes xbox start up screen .. tryed other games and works fine. WTF!! got the dreeded red light! only on fable!

i've been playing for 3 days now and I just finished up killing the commandant. it instructs me to enter a cullis gate that appears in order to move on in the story. the cullis gate appeared, but the (A) key designator to utilize it never did. so i'm stuck in a room and I basically can't progress in the game at all. saving and reloaded doesnt help, in fact i should never have saved at all because now I cant even regress back to a point before the bug.

to those who think it won't happen to them, i think you should reconsider.

Yes, I have played fable for a few hours...just on start up. Saved my game, shut down. Now...game freezes after about 5mintues of play. Have rebooted and tried this 5 times now. Freezes every time. I want my money back yo! Oh ..also have a fairly newish 360 elite as well...sooo...new system....

Wow... Fable 2 has screwed up over and over again for me. And I havn't downloaded the co-op patch yet... I was hoping that would fix it. So far this has been the single buggiest game I have ever played on the Xbox 360. Froze up on me twice. Reloaded from a previous save once when I tried to go through a Demon door. Numerous clipping issues. Great game but damn...

I've had it lock up a bunch of times. Just randomly it seems. Playing single player, offline. Not loading or saving or during a cut scene. I'll just be running around and BAM it locks up.

My machine Freezes on Fable 2 during in-game save points or when doing several things at the same time. Hope a fix comes soon.

After Playing Fable 2 for about 2 hours, (and getting about 10 min. worth of gameplay) AND after multiple freezes and lockups, my xbox 360 has bit the dust. RROD for the 2nd time in it's brief 2 year life span. Now I'm not sure if it was just on it's way out, and that's why Fable 2 was freezing.... or did Fable 2 push it over the edge? hmmmmm.

I cant even get past the lionhead loading screen, it jus goes white screen after that. I got to take about 30 steps and game froze. Lionhead needs to at least address the issue here!!

My game froze while I was paying and freezes when I try to load now. All the start menus function fine but when I go to load my game it begins to load then the screen goes to black. This has happened a few times now. I tried my copy of my game on my friend's Xbox and it loaded fine. His copy however did not load on mine.

the game has frozen 3 times on me, then i went to clear my cache, and it has played fine for the last 2 hours, but from what i read here it only sounds like the beginning of my problems

I just started Fable 2 today. The first time I put it in, it worked fine, up untill you get to the crowd in the first level. Then as soon as that woman start talking about the box or what ever it was it froze. I have restarted by Xbox 4 times. Each time the game has froze almost instantly.

Three out of the four times, it froze during the first scene, right when the camera changes from viewing the castle. To a side view of the two kids. The last time time, it froze about 20 seconds after that point. The game works fine on my brothers 360. And every other game works fine on my 360. Im going to clear my cache, and then try and play the first part with my 360 disconnected to the internet. I think that will end up working.

i got fable2 the other day... started it up... was goin fine... all of a sudden boom! the freezing starts... i didnt get that far but something is up... im actually having a problem with ninja guiden 2 as well... but all other games run fine... beats me... think im getting a new 360 anyway... but would def love to hear if theres a fix to the freezing.... just want to enjoy this game without saving every 5 mins and hoping for the best.

yep! Co-Op sucks because it's very misleading, and the freezing issue is insane!
not the quality you expect from a 360 game.

Yup, freezes up quite a lot. Cleared the patch and it is much better, though still freezes and has poor frame-rate occasionally.

i got this game yesterday and its the best game ever, but the only problem i have is everytime it saves or i get an acheivement it takes about 3 mins every time, and now im well far into the game neary got a kid loads of money, 2 wives , a few shops and houses...and now on this mission
'THE CRUCIBLE' i think its like the arena from the first game but i dont know cos its never let me on, it keeps on crasshing and when i turn it back on it starts the game perfct then lets me do other missions, but when i try the crucible mission it crashes, proper annoying..

anyway, still got my receit and farcry2 is out!!

Ive been playing pretty long (3-5 hrs at a time) since fable 2 came out with no problems.
Now when i first log in in oakville and the accumulated money is deposited into my character the game freezes. I think it has something to do with the overnight money deposit thingy.

a fix would be great, not about to delete my saved game this far into it.

I now have a $70.00 drink coaster next to my now dead console thanks to this title and it's lack of testing before release. I got freezes to the point where I got the RRoD. M$ customer service was as useless as a hooker in a monastery. Will be looking for some compensation from M$ or Lionhead or both for this.
