Amazon lists Fable II LE for $13 less than retail
It looks like Amazon is looking to grab the attention of 360 RPG gamers, because the company is currently listing the Fable II Limited Collector's Edition for $66.99, a full $13.00 off the retail price. Our instinct is to believe it must be an incorrect listing, but the page makes it quite clear that the listed price is 16% off retail and it includes the correct October 21 release date. So, if you're looking for some Fable goodness on the cheap (don't forget that pre-ordering at Amazon also nabs you the Fable II Pub Games for free), head over to Amazon and snatch one of these babies up. If you do so successfully, be sure to mention it in the comments!

Lionhead working on patch for Pub Games exploit
Along with a few gold earning tips and tricks, Lionhead Studios has informed us (via their lovely Fable 2 development blog) that they plan on releasing a Fable 2 Pub Games patch in the near future to fix the recently discovered gold exploit. Bummer! No word on a specific release date for the game patch, so continue to exploit until your greedy heart is content. Hurry though, time is tick-tock ticking ...Fable II Tales of Albion updated: Fall of the Heroes

Get your new Fable II wallpaper

It may not be as exciting as, say, the actual release of Fable II, but we are required by gaming law to inform you that Lionhead has posted new Fable II wallpaper. There are four such wallpapers, three of which feature the citizens of Bowerstone or Bloodstone. Bloodstone, by the looks of it, is full of some less than savory characters, including a man sporting what appear to be rouged knees and a sign that reads "Call me Doris." Whatever you say, Doris.
Major Nelson warns: Be careful with Fable II Pub Games

We will Major, we will.

Lionhead explains gold transfer process from Pub Games to Fable 2

When playing the Pub Games, you first choose a gambler. Proceed to gamble your heart out. Then, when you buy Fable 2 come October, create a hero and wander about until you find a "Gamemaster" at a local tavern or out and about. Accept the Gamemaster's invite to play a game where you'll then be given the chance to merge your Fable 2 hero with your Pub Games gambler. POOF! Your hero will now have access to the gold your Pub Games' gambler accrued. You can even merge many gamblers (and their bank accounts) together into one gambler which can be merged with your Fable 2 hero. But be warned. Once a hero and a gambler have merged, there is no undo option or any going back. Commitment, nice!
XBLA Reminder: Bionic Commando and Pub Games

Available for 800 Microsoft points, Bionic Commando: Rearmed is a remake of the 80's classic 2D side-scroller Bionic Commando, but now with updated graphics, Live multiplayer support, co-op play and fifty different swinging levels. Rearmed will also sports cross-game unlocks, where achievements earned in Rearmed will unlock goodies in the retail version of Bionic Commando. The other XBLA treat we're receiving this week are the three Fable 2 Pub Games that can be obtained for free as part of the Fable 2 pre-order promotion or can be purchased separately for 800 MS points. Comprised of Keystone, Fortune's Tower and Spinner Box, these gambling games will let you earn gold that can be used in Fable 2. Happy gaming!
Fable 2 achievements reward players for chicken kicking and orgies

Just look at one of our favorites, the "The Chicken Kicker" achievement where you have to "kick a chicken a respectable distance. As if kicking chickens was remotely respectable." Classic! Or how about "The Illustrated Hero" which is unlocked if you "tattoo every part of your hero's body." If that isn't up your Fable 2 achievement unlocking alley, may we interest you in "The Goth" or even "The Swinger" where you can earn 5 Gamerscore if you "take part in a orgy, responsibly." Yeah ... about that.

Your questions, Peter Molyneux's answers
If you've ever wanted the chance to pick Peter Molyneux's brain without going to the trouble of concocting a brilliant kidnapping scheme, now is your chance. GameDaily has chosen Fable 2 creator Peter Molyneux as its next participant in its 10 Questions series. We're not terribly familiar with the series, but we're guessing that the questionee (that would be Molyneux) will be asked 10 questions by the questioner (GameDaily). The twist here is that the questions will be submitted by gamers just ... like ... you. Head over to GameDaily and submit your questions. Be quick though, as GameDaily will stop accepting questions on August 7.
Molyneux: Three more Fable games planned

Molyneux feels sorry for Dyack and Too Human
Why all the Denis Dyack (stuck) hating? That's the question Fable 2's Peter Molyneux (stuck) seems to have asked himself because recently, in an interview with VideoGamer, Molyneux expressed sorry feelings for Dyack and how he and Too Human have been treated as of late. "I feel sorry for Denis Dyack because you know, I think a few things were said wrong, there was that really unfortunate showing at E3 a few years ago" Molyneux continued, saying that "everyone got on the bandwagon of saying things about Too Human." Peter then threw his support behind Too Human saying that "it's a good game" admitting that "it doesn't deserve a lot of that harsh criticism."A perfect example of how developers have to stick together if they want to survive in the industry. Strength in numbers, friends, strength in numbers.
Molyneux is considering MMO options
If it wasn't for those Microsoft PR wranglers, Peter Molyneux would sing like a blue-jay regarding upcoming Lionhead projects. But that's in a perfect world, darn those PR wranglers. Though, Molyneux isn't gagged completely as Eurogamer found out after probing Molyneux about his interest in MMOs.When asked about his interest in MMOs, Peter Molyneux gestured over to his PR wrangler saying that "there's someone in this room to make sure that I don't say too much about that question", but did confirm his interests in the genre saying that "I have been looking at MMOs". He continued, "I love the interaction, and I'm fascinated by the idea of really feeling secure and cool enough to actually do it." Just then, as juicy Lionhead MMO information was about to roll from his lips, Peter was silenced by his wrangler. If you ask us, a Lionhead developed MMO sounds delicious.
