We've mentioned more than once that we're damned impressed with all the Forza Motorsport 2 custom cars out there (especially this one), but we're not sure if we'd be willing to actually pay for one. You know, with real money. It looks like custom Forza cars have begun to hit eBay. Honestly, we're surprised we didn't see this coming. So far we've found three different auctions for various cars, all priced at $10. These don't have the meticulous custom paint jobs we've seen, so we're guessing they're tuned more for performance. One seller is even creating his cars with individual numbers, hoping to make them collector's items.
Our question to you: would you pay real money for the ultimate Forza car?

eBay doesn't allow auctioning of MMORPG stuff... I wouldn't be surprised if this broke their newer rules as well. If it doesnt, I hope MS fights it. It's stupid.

people were doing the same on Forza1. Would I pay real cash? Not for a tune-up, but for a nice paintjob yes. I figure the real complex paintjobs will hit in about a month (gotta give the painters some time), and a top-of-the-line skin for my ride might be worth 5-10 dollars.

I love when someone realizes for the first time, that vinyl artists are actually making those designs out of the very same "primitives," he's been staring at for the past hour.
In other news, 2 of those auctions are from the same dude, he doesn't claim to have done any work to them tuning, are these cars somehow unavailable, or is this just a straight up scam?
