LiveGamer's dpcough came across another game that otherwise hasn't yet been announced. EBGames has a listing for Simpsons: The Game, which also says the ship date is 11/1/07, which will probably be around the same time as the DVD for The Simpsons Movie, which will hit theatres sometime this summer. The alleged developer and publisher for the game is EA. So given the track record of console Simpsons titles, could this be good news? Hopefully they'll pull a TMNT, and have a little surprise waiting for us in XBLA around the same time as the retail release.[Via LiveGamer]

The last Simpsons game was actually very good. Really the only one other than the arcade game that was worthwhile. So I'll try to be optimistic.
Hopefully EA will work with Konami and get the arcade version on XBLA too.

Hit and Run was a great Simpsons game, only a good game overall but as a Simpsons game it gave me hope for future Simpsons games.
I hope this one isn't a quickly thrown together mess.

yes, this should ship to XBLA to coincide with the release of the movie, a la TMNT. But before that happens the phenomenal X-Men 4 player side-scroller should be released and be free of charge. That is all.

Damn I'd love to see The Simpsons arcade on XBLA... and I'd also love to see those Simpsons games I used to play on SNES come to XBLA... forgot the names, I think Virtual Bart and something else...
About a new Simpsons game out with the movie, I don't really care
