1. Nice. It's kinda geometry wars or mutant storm - but you have to collect crystals an exit through a certain gate. I'd liked a new, different game experience but... I find it a bit more interesting than the other two games but it's certainly not a must-have.

2. Ummm??? Geometry Wars is much better. The new version of Crystal Quest ruins what is cool about the original. The neat sounds. They should have re-mixed the old sounds to the new graphics... Dissapointed. XBLA better get some more varied games... it's becoming the Robotron clone channel.

3. Hm... that's true. I don't need another Robotron-playalike for the next 1000 Lightyears but I think this game offers more depth if it comes to gameplay than geowars. Hopefully there'll be new innovative titles coming soon for live arcade.

4. I played the demo, but didn't really get into it. I thought if I played past the demo levels, I'd get into it. I played through 31 waves and never really got into it. Geometry Wars this game is not. GW is still the best game on XBLA IMHO.

6. How does this work on non-widescreen TVs? I played it on my widescreen last night and it fills the whole screen, is it letterboxed on regular TVs?

7. Seriously. No more clones of this style of game. We need more variety. I don't like Crystal Quest, Geometry Wars, or Robotron (although I liked Roboron about 15 years ago). Zuma, Marble Blast Ultra, and Wik seem to be the only ones that are different enough to keep playing.

How about Qix? Or better yet, Slimey's Mine (with the Sound FX "Music Maker" still in tact at the start screen).

Or instead of releasing all these Arcade Collections on the consoles, put them on XBLA. Duh.

8. Yeah that sound is from the original game, but on the xbox it seems to stutter, on the mac it was very loud and clear.

9. The full version comes with the original 1987 game and it plays alright. Obviously not an amazing game, but it takes up my time nicely. I'd give it like a 7.5/10.
