During the video interview, Molyneux admits that the moral choices a player made in the original Fable and how they affected the world was complete "rubbish." According to Molyneux, we can expect more than moral choices simply affecting one's appearance, Fable 2's moral choices will change your pet's looks, the community, how people react to you and the scenarios you'll be introduced to.
Also, when Molyneux was questioned whether or not he played Fable as good or evil, he responded "when I have bad days, people in my games suffer." We never would have expected our Peter to be such a torturing man, interesting.

If PM say's so, it must be true. Loved the original, can't wait for the sequel.

Okay, I'm currently playing the first game and not finding it that interesting. I think the backward compatibility issues in the game are clouding my judgment a little (it locks up frequently).
I have the sequel pre-purchased and this interview is leading me to believe I've made the right choice. Here's hoping.

Peter said the first one is terrible compared to this one. if you find the first remotely enjoyable you should be blown away by the sequel.

Aye.. I'm 100% with Peter.. the game had an amazing concept of the whole "The world shapes around you.", but it was almost pointless..
1. You could be either completely good or evil.. and by the end of the game.. all you would have to do is make one choice, and you would be perm. good or evil..
2. It didn't effect anything around you except people's expressions and dialog.
3. Peter always love the evil side of his games.. Just like how he wants players to kill the bard that annoys the hell out of you when you see him.

I always thought the moral choices in the 1st game were too obvious. I'd like ot see some (not all) abiguous choices where you try to do the right thing, but its really the evil choice. Or vice versa.
Morality is not always black and white.

Pity he wasn't saying this sort of stuff before Fable 1 was released, instead of his usual bullshit.

Well any producer is going to hype their game.. and they always look back and see mistakes..
Can you imagine if Cliff B. said something like:
"Yeah.. this game is ok. It's pretty fun.. you should give it a rent." to Gears of War 2? rofl.

Hyping and lying are two different things though. Pete was saying about how your character would change, the surrounding would change, how this game was more awesome than a war between ninja's and pirates...right up to launch day.

well, in his second time hyping and having actual proof and video to back up his words, then it doesn't entirely matter what he said before Fable 1 was released. i don't see the 'pity' here.
