And if it is good, that also says something about me. I'm incredibly proud of Fable and with what the team has managed to do with it."
Awww shucks, Mr. Molyneux is not only happy with the final product Fable 2 has turned out to be, but he also isn't giving us any excuses to why it wasn't his ideal vision. We can't wait to give it a go and make our determination of Molyneux's worth. How exciting!

Fable tlc was such a fun game and if Peter can deliver that experience along with some more brilliance then he should not be worried about his legacy at all.

Ah Peter Molyneux. Fable was an incredible game if you really immersed yourself into the experience the game was creating. Peter definitely has new ideas, and brilliant stories for the game but he has never really been able to tie them all up. This solidifies my belief that peter has finally created a game which follows his 'vision' of how the Fable story should go. Many people know he wasn't fully happy with Fable 1 because he wasn't able to 'express' all he could, and I think he went full out on Fable 2.
It's already number 1 on my gaming priority list, and I'm incredibly happy Peter has finally been able to create the game of his vision. Cheers Molyneux.

Molyneux is one of what I like to call the big three. Three game developers that, for the most part, put the player in control in more ways then we were used to. The Populous series from Peter, Sim City from Will Wright and Sid Meier's Civilization. With those games alone I believe they are already established. What they've done recently doesn't really matter as much as critics may think. People say Black and White is only good for the animal battles and Fable wasn't anything like what was promised. The Sims is addictive but the expansions are ridiculous while Spore is innovative but supposedly shallow. Civilization is a great franchise but until recently it was only for the hard core. Revolution is fantastic, however some are wishing it was a bit deeper. The point is that we're still playing games put out by these three. Fable 2 may be Molyneux's magnum opus and judging by the videos, interviews and articles I've seen and read, this may be true. But to make or break him based on just one game isn't going to happen. At least for me.

No offense to him but he tends to shoot off his mouth a bit. I remember him talking about how Fable would be the best RPG ever and we all know how that turned out.
Im sure the game will be good but he often acts if his creations are the holy grail.

Yeah I agree. I remember back when Fable was about to come out and Molyneux could not keep his mouth shut about how great the game was, and in the end didn't he publicly apologize for the disappointment he brought? I remember he did that.
So I'm still looking forward to Fable 2, but I won't be surprised if the game does not live up to anyone's expectations.

I understand he should be hyping his game, but most game developers talk about the positives of their game, while Molyneux does have a tendency to just say the game is the best game to ever come out.
Like, Rockstar Games constantly talked about the positives of Grand Theft Auto IV, but I don't recall them saying "this game is going to be the best, and everyone will consider us Gods when it comes out".
Although I do like to be proved wrong ;).
