First EndWar screens surface

Tom Clancy's EndWar has been announced, but we have yet to see what the game will look like. That is until now, because Xboxygen posted magazine scans from the latest EGM which features exclusive EndWar screens. From what we can tell from these (mostly blurry) scans is that EndWar will be a very detailed and personal RTS. Though, we're not sure how representative the screens are of the final game, but no matter what EndWar has a lot going for it. Make the jump for the whole batch of EndWar scanned goods.

Anyone willing to put their necks on the line and speculate to how innovative (and fun) EndWar will end up being?

2. Carl, I don't think this is going to be a first person shooter game...

Information so far tells us that it is a real time strategy game.

Expectations are pretty high for EndWar, I hope they pull it off.

3. Yeah Carl you need to think Command and Conquer not GRAW.

Either way when they do Tom Clancy Games they do them big, so as of right now until I hear more information I will take this as interesting, but I would be lying if I said this doesn't have me a little excited.

We will see...

4. Can't go wrong with WW3... I just hope the ending is a bad one where no one wins and mankind is left in shambles... like it's supposed to end. Give the "good" endings a break for a bit I say.

6. You can buy the EGM issue from Zinio.com as a download if anyone is interested.

The article tells you quite a bit more about the game and the lead dev describes it as 'Madden War' as the control method and view point are 'inspired' by the recent 3D Madden games.

You can also get a better view of the screens.

I'm looking forward to this game and can't wait to see it in motion.

7. Don't be so quick to jump on Carl. He clearly said "fist person," not "first person." So, assuming he knows something that we don't, I think the final HUD will probably look a lot like this:
