Today, St. Patrick's Day, is the one day where we mourn a great man by the name of Saint Patrick by drinking a whole bunch of green beverages. With alcoholic (or not so alcoholic) drinks in hand, we gather with friends and family to have fun, chat it up, and take it easy. And we can't think of a better day to relax and jump on Xbox Live or go over to a friend's house to play some video games. It's no coincidence that one of the Xbox 360's main colors is green, but don't you find it odd that those green TMNT just came to the XBLA? Gaming with friends on St. Patrick's Day just makes sense. But no matter what you do today to celebrate Saint Patrick and those green leprechauns, be sure to have fun and stay safe. Now ... bottoms up fanboys!
Happy St. Patrick's Day fellow fanboys

3. BAH! ST PATRICKS DAY IS NOT ABOUT THE COLOR GREEN! Irish people DO NOT wear green on St. Patrick's day. And St. Patrick's day is a religious holiday and probably the only day in the year where the Irish are sober. :P (Ok. I made that sober part up, but it is not in their tradition to get smashed/shitfaced on this holiday.
This holiday is purely ABUSED by North American Alcohol producers to milk the most out of the holiday. Green beer is BULLSHIT. Period.
And no, I am not Irish. I just wish people would treat holidays for what they really are and stop using the common North American misconception of the holiday. (Don't worry, the impression in Canada of this holiday isn't much better either, than it is in the US.)
People, please treat this holiday for what it's meant to be: a time to get together with family and enjoy eachothers presence. Thank you for listening. (or reading)

4. I say whoever is not going to any parades today, start drinking early and go annoy all the little kids on Live. I promise you'll have fun.

5. I AM going to treat this holiday as to what it really is, a non-govermnment recognized holiday. This means I still have to go to work and dont get holiday pay. So I think im gonna treat it like every other day.

6. DjDATZ, oh man, you're post is 100% wrong. Trust me, I live in a Scottish city full of Irish students, and I know a good 10-15 Irish who I've met today. They'll be very drunk, wearing either enormous Guinness hats or Irish rugby colours (green) and be properly hung over tomorrow. And I'm not talking about your one fifth Irish, or some distant Irish relative, I'm talking straight from the island itself with full-on accents and pride.
Can't speak for Ireland itself, but this city will be absolutely mental tonight. Irish + Scottish all celebrating St. Patricks Day = one hell of a hangover.

7. And I'm scottish myself, so I've witnessed (and caused) the carnage St. Paddy's Day brings.
