Let's take a tour of Blue Dragon

Over at Xboxyde BlimBlim was feeling a little bored today and started exploring Blue Dragon to document his favorite locations. For those of us who haven't yet got hands-on time with the game, these screen grabs are a great way to see not only the art style, but the different locations in the game. These shots are beautiful, unique, and show off what Blue Dragon is really all about. Even the chef's nose makes us smile with excitement ... it's so round and pudgy. Make the jump for more screen grabs and wish you too could play Blue Dragon.

1. Grrrrrr. I want Blue Dragon, despite the level grinding.

2. Mmmmmm, level grinding. That phrase reminds me I'm still stuck in multiple RPGs due to lack of level grinding. It's like a punch in the gut, I swear.

3. is it just me or are these graphics some of worst i have seen on 360?

i understand the gameplay>graphics thing but i dont understand it when people are lauding the character models, which are obviously simple (looks like gamecube) and the landscapes, which also look last gen

4. I don't get why people like Akira Toriyama's designs. Chrono Trigger was terrific, but Dragonball Z is the most annoying thing I've seen on television, and I couldn't play Dragon Quest 8 because of how weird and stupid the characters looked.

I do have to agree that the pudgy chef looks good, but other than that, the design I've seen in Blue Dragon so far just doesn't look cool to me.
