100,000 MS points ... for free [update 1]

In celebration of the release of Assault Heroes on Xbox Live Arcade, Sierra is giving away 100,000 MS points (technically 100,800). The award will be dealt out as an unwieldy stack of 63 separate 1,600 point cards. The best part is that it will take you only seconds to enter. The only info required is a name, email, birthday, and zip code. Hit submit and BAM!, you're entered. The winner will be announced in March. Sure, there's basically no chance that any of you will win, but there are certainly contests that require you to jump through more hoops for much less. As our informant XBLArcade mentions, this is enough points to buy RoboBlitz 84 times, so the prize is sweet. Go enter while the entering's good.

Update: This contest is open to US residents only. We apologize for not mentioning this earlier.

2. Damm, i'll have to move to the US to enter. I love these competitions :(

3. Entered.

You know, giving away 100,000 points just sounds so much more impressive than giving away 135 free copies of Assault Heroes.

More power though.

4. I pity the person who wins. They will lose their vision trying to enter all of those codes...

5. Their RegEx for checking valid email addresses is broken... my domain name has a dash ("-") in it and they're claiming I'm typing in an invalid email address. So, Richard is right... I basically have no chance to win. (I can't find any email links to tell them about their problem...)

6. Yea, March 1st is only 100 days away, I can't wait to wait for three months!

7. Or, you could get a hotmail account or something matt, and just forward it to your regular email address.

8. Ok, 63 cards, each with a unique 25 character code...Thats 1575 characters to enter using the painful ABC keyboard on your 360 dash. No. Thank. You. I'd rather just pay for Roboblitz once.

9. Took all of 30 seconds, thanks to autocomplete support in the browser. 100K points works out to nearly $1400 in retail cost, so you just know I'd suddenly be able to justify buying my own Xbox 360. I keep holding off due to financial difficulties that take precedence but that prize would surely eliminate that last vestige of resistance.

10. #8, dirtey6,

You can redeem your points online at xbox.com as well. Or just plug in a USB keyboard.
