Gamestop has contest for Ninja Gaiden 2 Elite 360s

Well for those who got their hopes up about purchasing a Ninja Gaiden themed Elite 360, those hopes have now been officially crushed. The previously non-existent website from the standee is now live and ready for folks to enter the contest. The "Are You a Ninja?" sweepstakes runs for a month, ending May 29th, and is only open to US residents. The grand prize is of course the Elite 360, but the runners-up get some cool swag too: a copy of the game, some rubber ninja stars, two rubber swords, and a fake ninja outfit. Wait did we say cool swag? We meant stupid swag (the game itself notwithstanding).

Anyway it's worth entering just for the chance at one of those custom 360's, even if we've gotta give Gamestop traffic for it. The sweepstakes entry form is located here, and official rules here.

Win a 360 elite from Talking About Games

The fine folks from Talking About Games, home to three (count 'em three)
gaming podcasts -- UncleGamer Radio, Achievement Junkie, and Post Game Report -- are giving away an Xbox 360 Elite with help from game trading site Goozex. Of course, you can't expect to win an Xbox 360 Elite for nothing, and you'd be right to expect so. If you want to win an Xbox 360 Elite, you'll have to sign up for Goozex using a special code. Signing up is free though, so it doesn't sound too risky, though we should note that we've never used Goozex before (if you have, feel free to tell us about it in the comments). Head over to the contest page for more details.

Design a level for Bionic Commando - Rearmed

Creating a game with XNA might be a great fit for the mathematically inclined but for those of us that know the closest we'd like to get to Pi is an eating contest, Capcom has a solution in the form of a contest. Gamers worldwide and over the age of 18 are being invited to design a challenge level for the upcoming XBLA, PSN and PC release of the NES remake, Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Leave your programing skills at the door, Capcom wants all submissions in the form of an image and the top prize will get both the level inserted into the game as well as your name added to the credits.

Multiple entries are allowed and will be accepted until 11:59 Pacific standard time on March 12, 2008. We'll also throw in a shiny nickel for anyone who designs their winning entry as an homage to X3F. Hit the read link for complete deets on the competition.

TheManRoom's Devil May Cry 4 Giveaway

The only thing better than a trickle of solid game releases after the holiday season is getting one of those games on-the-free. TheManRoom is offering one lucky reader a chance to win a copy of Devil May Cry 4 for the Xbox 360 or the PS3. Residents of the United States and Canada are invited to enter the contest once per day until the draw closes on February 22 at 9:59pm PST. We recommend the Xbox 360 version, only because we tend to play games as soon as we insert them into our consoles and not when we're planning to take a long hot bubble bath while it installs. But hey, that's just us!

TheMan661 and the Xcast send us word that they are giving away 1600 MS Points to the one person talented enough to create their new logo. Oh, and the winner also gets a copy of Shrek the Third, but it's probably better if we don't mention that. Wait a minute! You could easily slap that puppy on eBay, right? As part of their launch party fun, the charitable devs over on the Shadowrun team are holding a few screenshot caption contests where the winners will be invited to play with the team on launch day.
