The good folks at Xbox360Achievements.org posted the detailed achievement list for the upcoming Ubi Soft first-person tactical shooter, Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Weighing mostly on multiplayer points the list ranges from utterly simple, "Create your own custom camouflage," to ridiculously hard, "Lead your team to Victory 20 times in Team Leader with at least 6 players present.." OK, that isn't hard to do at all actually but it's funny how achievements need to be so detailed rendering achievement boosting impossible. Who would do that anyway? Sorry, gotta go our copy of Avatar: The Last Airbender just showed up and we hear the points are hella easy.

Acually the "Create your own custom camouflage" achievement means you are an Elite and hace unlocked custom camo so its acually probly one the hardest achievements

didnt they learn anything from cod4?
(sarcasm cause they jacked alot of shit from that game evidentially)
more single player achievements less for the MP.
damn, I hate when they factor shit in like "with at least 6 players in the room". gtfoh
ill still buy day one though and cant wait for this game.

Well, to be fair, CoD4 could be seen as taking quite a bit of things from Rainbow.

I've been waiting for this game.. but damn those achievements suck. I was hoping they'd fix the crappy multiplayer achievements they gave in the first one... but apparently not. None of them even seem fun.. just tedious.
This only translates into a bunch of ppl opting out of trying to have fun getting them.. and instead cheating (just like in the original)... Having "at least 6 players in the room" doesn't correct the problem of boosters, it only means the boosters need to find 5 friends, who equally hate the boredom of these achievements (which shouldn't be difficult).
Making the achievements fun.. that's how you stop players from boosting.

Bleh i hate the fact there making 6 people in a room. I WANT TO BOOST OK?
I do not want to annoy people in there games, i don't want to be forced into playing in a certain style to unlock achievements so either keep them out the multiplayer or stop making them so stupid. I enjoy collecting achievements and when you try to restrict things and force things, there just not any fun.

the last one is the worst. i'm not gonna go out a buy a live vision camera just to get one achievement, but it's a total giveaway to people who already have one.

Those seem quite easy, I must have done most of them in R6V, with 8 player matches. But in the Halo3 beta I got loads of medals that I can't get in the real game, so it depends.
The ones I hate are the Co-Op.
THe 6 players thing is to stop boosters, but why choose 6, they could have made it 4 and it would have been just as effective against boosters.

In practice you can easily get 10 kills with a single weapon in a match, often closer to 20-30. So even if you only get 10 it takes 10games per weapon, then do that 5 times for all weapons, that is 50 games, I will easily play 50games, and may even pick-up some of the other achievements while I am at it, these achievements are actually rather good, if it was 1000 kills per weapon then that would be lame, but 100 is quite nice, and when you are done you will have got your 50, 100, 1000 kills achievements also.

Where's the reply button gone??
Anyway, surely the point of these is that if you play it enough you'll get most them anyway.
I just don't understand 'boosting' at all. What's the point of boosting to get an achievement? Doesn't that defeat the whole point of the 'achievement'? What a misnomer.

I have already seen people boosting and its only 3 days old.I have seen elites and people are getting turned off.I remember i used to see a ton of people on the old vegas and now i hardly even find a match on Veags 2.Boosting is made even easier in this game its ridiculous.Just watch for team leader rooms and for sure you will find boosters.

Can any one shed some light on this? Is it an error with the game or is there something i am missing?
