During the dog days of summer in 2006, EA Sports released their first console sports management simulator to great success. That's commercial success, not critical. While NFL Head Coach was initially popular the game and it's many exploits turned many players off. Well, in a move that seems incomprehensible, EA waited a few years to work on a sequel and has just announced NFL Head Coach 2009.With two-time Super Bowl winner Tony Dungy, head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, gracing the cover, the EA Tiburon developed title makes the jump to the Xbox 360 and PS3 with an expected summer release. We (Read: Just me, Xav) are actually pretty excited about playing a revamped version of NFL Head Coach. Let's just hope EA was actually working on the title and not investing in more 19-0 hat factories.

Cole just got served.
Also, Head Coach? Really? Couldn't they have just put that game mode into Madden as an incentive to re-buy the same game you've been buying for a decade?

First...
this game will suck, as all other iterations of Head Coach have before
And second...
Harty har har harrrrrr... The whole league was cheating, why do you think Goodell doesn't want to look further into it? Sucks the patriots got caught, but the patriots weren't the only team doing it. Why do you also think that at a recent poll of coaches at the nfl combine the majority of those questioned were "satisfied" with the leagues handling of the matter and would like to move on from it? Spector's inquiry (Waste of time, just like the steroids hearings.. nice distraction from the bigger problems in our country)won't damn the patriots, it'll damn half the league.
By the way, pretty sure we're odds on favorites to win next year. I'll take 4 super bowls in 8 years. 4 in 7 would've been nice though.
And before anyone else jumps on me... sucks we lost but I'm a man and I'll take my lumps... the Giants flat out dominated the line of scrimmage and deserved to win the game. Got outplayed. Any given sunday.
