It's a Devil May Cry 4 video blowout
With the announcement of a Devil May Cry 4 demo coming to the XBLM sometime early next year, Capcom decided to release a handful of new videos to show off the extreme awesomeness of DMC4. All the new video newness can be viewed after the break where we've carefully embedded them, and we think you'll agree DMC4 is one of the ultimate hack-n-slash games. Take the video embedded above for instance. First, you'll notice that Dante is one badass dude who is strong, witty and has a hint of cockiness. Second, you'll see that the gameplay is over the top slashing craziness that is sort of growing on us. Finally, after watching the video you'll see why we don't garden. We have a horrible fear of abusive, talking, female snake weeds. So much so, we sleep with a bottle of Roudup every night.

Main character is actually named Nero in this game. I know it's stupid that they look exactly the same, just letting you know.

Dante is ALSO a playable character in this game, and is the character featured in the first and third videos.
Dante has similair(ish) hair (aka its also silver), but is completely different to Nero.
Nero has a large devil arm and revolver. Dante has a 6 foot long sword and a set of dual pistols.
Please, make sure you're own facts are right before you go correcting the people who obviously know better than yourself.

Okay, I guess I was wrong. But you cannot deny the fact that all the playable characters in the Devil May Cry series thus far, have looked practically identical. So, please don't be such a dick, you make the world a worse place by doing so.

"You're a jerk..."
Haha, if you're not following it I'm quoting Tom Cruise when he got squirted with water from a microphone in a fake review with some British gents.

Gonna be a tough choice between this and Ninja Gaiden 2 as my insane hack n' slash action game. Not really but whatever. I'd imagine most 360 owners aren't as interested in this as they are Ninja Gaiden 2, which is funny cause PS3 fanboys get their panties in a tizzy when they think about us playing it.
I may just have to get this game for my PS3 and Ninja Gaiden 2 for my 360 to justify getting the game.
Oh and if memory serves me wasn't DMC suppose to be one of those games that's balls-to-the-wall difficult? You couldn't tell by watching that first video, in fact it looks laughably easy. Also I did play DMC3 and it was quite hard.

Ahahahaha.. after watching the 3rd video I'm not sure if I'll get this. One of the things that makes a DMC game is its difficulty and speed, and looking at the 3rd video it seems they took a more casual approach.
You know the best way to describe it is the transition from Die Hard 1 to Die Hard 4. The first one he was a bad-ass yes, but he was still human, in the 4th one he was just the terminator with a different name.
...They could have atleast made the enemies attack your character.

The reason DMC3 was hard was because the American version of DMC3's "Normal" mode was actually the Japanese "Hard" mode. They changed this so it was back to normal in the Special Edition version of DMC3.
It was also frustrating because the game made you start the mission over from the beginning if you died. They later added the ability to restart from the last room you cleared.
Also, the guy playing in these videos doesn't seem to play very well. :\ DMC is more about being stylish and showing off than being difficulty.

The 2nd video had one sexy cutscene lemme tell ya. They just about split that woman in half.. huh huh *nudges as he talks* oh yeah you know what I'm talkin about.
Seriously though, funny video, if you had to only watch one of the three make it video number 2.

Nero is voice by the main character from Bleech (that heartless anime on adult swim and extremely popular torrent).
Dante is voiced by Tom Cruise.

What? Oh, joy! Another button-mashing hack-n-slash posefest featuring effeminate anime pretty boys. And there's two of them this time! All the yaoi fans will be wetting their panties over this one!
However, I'll pass. Where's GTA IV, already?!?! Haven't they gotten the PS3 kinks worked out so that they can release it?

I can appreciate another man looking good, secure enough with myself to say that, but I wouldn't really say they're effeminate.
They certainly act manly enough, but their dress and looks are telling a different story. It certainly is very confusing to your average male who grew up in a western culture. Then again the eastern culture would find us odd for wanting to look like and appreciating a man who is covered in muscles or is a pro body-builder.
I personally want the character in my game to be somewhere in between, not fashionable and pretty like the japanese but not half-naked and juiced up like the american view-point. Unless we're talking about the Duke. Duke Nukem has to be over-the-top american style hero, wouldn't want it any other way.
Eh, what the hell am I rambling on about. You know what forget whatever it is I just said, I'm gonna go lie down.

I've already for the LCE version of the game on pre-order. These videos make me want it so much more. And the voice of Dante is Reuben Langdon, who did the voice in DMC3 too.
