Food to rock the NFL!

Which MP maps we'd like to see remade for Halo 3

After stumbling across MLG's article on the top five Halo multiplayer maps they'd like to see remade for Halo 3 it got us thinking. It got us thinking about what maps we wish Bungie would bring to Halo 3. MLG member Brick's list of maps is pretty decent and includes such "gems" like Midship and Colossus (eww!), but we're opinionated bloggers here and can sum up our map wants in four words ... Ivory Tower and Turf. Yup, those are the two maps we will bend over backwards for and are the two maps we'd go gah-gah over if they were remade in full Halo 3 glory. Yeah, there are other good ones out there, but darnit if we aren't in love with our Ivory Tower and Turf. Case closed!

But not really, because we're sort of curious to hear from you what maps you'd like to see remade for Halo 3. Tell us what you think, list your favs and there's a small chance that if Bungie reads this they'll bring back Chiron TL-34 (crossing fingers and toes).

Lockout, for sure.

@29

I gravitate towards it because it is the quintessential 1 on 1 map (w/ shotguns). "Camping" doesn't really come into play in this scenario.

Halo 3 unfortunately doesn't seem to have any good 1 on 1 maps. Guardian is close, but just not quite right for some reason.

if they redo any maps from halo 2, i wouldn't be upset if they didn't change them. some of them are classic & i'd pay to play them as is (with better graphics...)

terminal, sidewinder, headlong, waterworks, containment, prisoner, lockout, chillout

there were some maps for halo 1 for the PC that were awesome as well

Lockout as i rembember it, no re-texturing it to be underwater or something...
Maybe Midship because of it's extreme balance feel.

I really really like the big maps like headlong and waterworks (not colossus though) but they shoudl be toned down in size. Even 16 players on one of those maps is too big. I really like how there's differnt levels in headlong, and various places you can be. Just make the map more easier to navigate? Get my drift?

BRING back all the maps! (except colossus)

I want Lock Out. Hell I want them all. There is no reason they shouldnt be able to touch up the old maps and release them for Halo 3. And I mean TOUCH UP. Not HACK UP. Guardian is not even close to a good substitution for Lock Out. Leave them as they were, w/ exception of tweaking a tiny bit.
It should be easy for them to do this.

But of course NEW maps should be released as well.
Bottom line: If this is indeed the last Halo, then give us everything you can Bungie. The top 15-20 maps from Halo and Halo 2, along with a good amount of new ones over time. Truly make this game even better and pro long even more the replay factor. Come on Bungie. Listen to the fans who made you rich!

I agree, they should release 2-3 new maps bundled with 2-3 old maps with each DLC release... That would be a good deal, at little extra cost to the devs. I just hope they don't force you to buy the maps to play in all the regular ranked matches. I never liked that in Halo2. I don't mind maybe 1 or 2 playlists, but not the majority.

Lockout

Ascension (!!)

Ivory Tower

Coagulation/Blood Gulch

Headlong (it was my FAVORITE! All the different buildings with different levels in each made for some really awesome gameplay!)

Foundation (AWESOME for rockets, etc, it's nice to have such a simple map when you just wanna kill!)

Turf, of course.

Beaver/Battle Creek

Containment

I know that's almost all of them, but to be honest I really feel like the Maps were better in Halo 2. Some might say that's just because i know halo 2 better, but i really feel like the maps actually just provided better gameplay. I do like some of the halo 3 maps though!

I like 2v2 in halo 3, but there needs to be some better 2v2 maps. The original Longest from Halo 1 is a must here. Also, the original Blood Gulch.
