Holy screenshots! Bungie has posted a digital ton of screenshots taken from the upcoming Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack. We've taken the liberty of nabbing the screenshots and adding them to our Heroic Map Pack gallery for your perusal. Perhaps the most interesting shots of the bunch are the shots of Foundry, the map built especially for Forge. There are several shots of the level in different configurations, giving us an idea of what's possible. Check out all the screenshots in the gallery below.
So, are you planning on purchasing the Heroic Map Pack next week?

what are you gonna do once your done making your forge maps? How do you get people to play on them with you?
I made several forge maps and since theirs no custom game browser, I can never get people to play on them with me.

how long do I have to wait until they're free again? My guess is I'll wait. I've got other games to play right now and I still have work to do on single player, co-op and metagame Halo 3. I think once it goes free it'll be a nice little bonus to get me back into multiplayer. I'll save it.

I agree. CoD4 is great, but Halo is still the awesomeness it always was.
I hate the fact that they'll be $10, but not enough to wait 2-3 months.

I'll probably wait. I already spent $410 to be able to play it. Don't get me wrong - I love being able to jump online , playing a quick game, get on with life. Plus my wife enjoys the arcade demos. Maybe I should have just played Halo 2 for another year. (Rambling over)

Even with all those great games you mentioned, you must not forget your Halo 3 needs love too. Just pop it in every now and then to play some Team Slayer. Trust me. Halo 3 will love you for it.
