We're going to do something a little different for our Fanpoll this week. Rather than take a static poll, we're going to ask our readers to submit individual ideas. Radical thinking, hmmm? As it turns out, we're also straining to come up with a question that would be easily answerable by a static poll, so we've decided to steal a topic from our Joystiq mother ship: what features would you like to see in the Xbox 360 Fall Update? We already know that it won't be IPTV, so what could it be? Do we have any prognosticators out there that can foresee the next big Xbox 360 bell and/or whistle? Let us know what you'd like to see -- or predict what you think will come true -- in the comments.

Honestly, the results of this poll surprised us. We had figured Rock Band would be the victor, but Guitar Hero III enjoys a healthy lead over its peripheral-heavy cousin, though there is a large percentage of people opting to buy both. The majority that chose Guitar Hero III cited a better track list and a much lower price as primary reasons for picking it over Rock Band. Rock Band proponents, naturally, are looking forward to the various instruments it utilizes. There you have it. The people have spoken.

1.) User editable groups for buddy list.(friends, acquaintances, family ... etc.)
2.) ability to sort buddies by games they have played.(this way buddies who I play gears with will stop inviting me to PGR4)

I wouldn't mind a feature that adds a note under a friend on your list that notes what time, day and what game you met said friend. I hate getting on and not knowing who the hell these people are and if I should delete me or not ya know? I have a terrible memory.

Be able to remove Demo's from your achiement list and such, like when you view it from another website. You just tried the game on a demo and it looks like you tried it and didn't get a single thing.

I really doubt we'll get any browser for the 360. Come on MS owns the most used browser. They could had had that ported over at launch. They have a whole team just for IE! If we get a browser I'll be surprised.

to #90, you can turn that off in the settings menu. Don't remember exactly where it is, but it is there.
The netflix support would be awesome!
don't care much about Divx/Xvid support, 'cause I got Tversity. Works pretty well, a few bugs to iron out.

to separate Xbox 360 games and XBLA games data in "PLAYED GAMES" on the GAMES Blade and on Marketplace.
i find this problem very frustrating. when i try to quikly find content for a game i've played, i have to see all the XBLA games i've played. and most i only played the demo! Microsoft PLEASE FIX THIS STUPID PROBLEM!!!!!

I would like to see a internet browser for the 360. Nintendo and Sony have one already and Microsoft is the only company of the game systems that actually owns a web browser (Internet Explorer) thought that was kinda weird... I'd feel a lot better if 360 had one too

There's a lot of things I'd LIKE to see, but a couple I think are actually probable:
1.) Let me use the right stick to scroll through item descriptions. It's dumb that I have to wait like 5 seconds before they slowly scroll by and it's particularly annoying with the video marketplace.
2.) Increase how long we can watch the movies. Make it even 48 or 72 hours. 24 is ridiculous. The first (and last) time I rented a film on there, it told me it was ready to watch and cancelled on me several times because it wasn't downloading fast enough. I tried to watch it again the next day and I couldn't. Almost $5 for what? I might as well go to Blockbuster.
