9. I wonder how many people just make up stories about their Xbox 360 failing. Mine failed on me but it was a faulty power outlet that killed it and my stereo...that'll teach me to move my 360 to a different room. Anyways...Forza 2 demo today...sweeeet!!

10. @8 that's nothing. my 6th 360 became posessed and tried to club me to death in my sleep by swinging the power brick at my head. I hate refurbs!

11. OMFG!!!!!

I cant use Live Messenger because I have a Windows Child Account.... -.- B/S imo

Otherwise pretty good update, but does anyone know if there is a way to change my Live ID ffs???

12. @11

passport.net
I changed my id from a comcast.net address to a gmail one and it works great. I found this out from a MS Live Support Supervisor, but she did mention that it was for me to try at my own risk :)

13. @9 My brother's friend had his fail 3 weeks ago, my brother's failed last weekend. I'm on my second.

That would be awesome if it was today...

14. funny.. seems like every other post these days is turning into a discussion of bricked 360s.. i also joined the right lights club a few weeks ago.. waiting on my 2nd replacement (first one sounded like a blender)

15. Now seriously, I need an Elite...NOW!! There's just too much cool stuff coming down the pipeline. I'm not an early adopter of the 360 until I saw the Elite.

I've been watching and I'm going to be broke for a long time once I get my Elite.

Gears of War
Rainbow Six Vegas
GRAW II
Guitar Hero II
Crackdown (Halo 3 Beta)
Shadow Run
Catan
Forza 2
Mass Effect
Tiger Woods 08
And the all glorious Halo 3
Not to mention others I'm forgetting...

Honestly, though can someone help me find an Elite, preferably at GameStop so I can trade in my Xbox and games for credit. I've called every single store everyday since launch in NYC and can't find one. HELP!!!

16. ...this is a thread about Forza 2 Demo...not griefers annon.

Not to say your issues arent cared for, but I'm kinda tired of every other post whining, ya dig.

take it up with the bossman.

and on topic, is it here yet?!

17. too bad you dont live in georgia #15. every store i go to has plenty of elites just sitting there. guess people up there are ignorant enough to waste money on an elite just for hdmi and a bigger hard drive when its just as easy to just get the hard drive. you cant tell much of a difference in component and hdmi unless you have a tv that costs like $5000 plus. not to mention taking a chance on getting the ring of death on a more expensive 360. it just isnt worth it. had mine since launch day and dont plan on it goin anywhere. i may get the 120 gb hard drive but thats about all.

18. @16

agreed, I don't give a fuck if your 360 broke, i've had three and none of them have broken, I don't know any of my friends with a broken 360, and I haven't heard any stories of broken 360's except online... Now where is my forza 2 demo, if it is as awesome as it looks i'll be looking to preorder right after I play
