Over on the Team 17 forums they've announced new downloadable content for XBLA title Worms. The downloadable content will be a dozen or so theme and audio packs that will include updated backgrounds and audio commentary for your worms to rumble in. It has been confirmed that the Space Theme and Audio pack will be free for download, but we are not sure of the other pack's cost or if they will be free too. Also confirmed is a Worms gamer picture set and theme. But all this new content will be a long time coming, because Team 17 is currently putting their efforts into a patch that'll help make the game all the more sparkly. Speech, themes, and audio ... what more could a Worms fan want (other than every Worms weapon ever created)?[Thanks, Boff]

I would really would have liked if the game included more weapons from W:Armageddon. Some like the flying sheep or the holy grenade where a lot of fun. Although I guess backgrounds and audio packs are a good addition.

They need to fix the AI think time. One of the developers on the 360 forums said they accidentally left the think time set from the PSP version. WTF?

Fix the impossibly-accurate AI targeting, and give me a practice area where I can just screw around with all the weapons, and I'll be happy. It takes way too long to PLAY and learn how to use each weapon...

give us weapons!
i wouldn't even mind dropping another 400 points for a pack of extra weapons.

I couldn't see an option in the 360 version to make custom teams, something which always made Worms for me.

@James Frazer #9 - you can make your own teams, but you can't play them on Quick Match, you have to create a local multiplayer game and add as many computer controlled teams as you want to face (the computer controlled ones have a microchip icon next to them).
Impossibly accurate AI? That's been around forever, and wouldn't make it as challenging. It means you have to take a little more care of your worms - try hiding them a bit more.
And yeah, the cluster bomb is next to useless now. I've almost completely stopped using using it.

I just can't see past the weapon selection to buy this version of Worms.
A large part of the attraction of Worms is the outlandish weapons and the crazy/funny results of them. They went the safe route and have all the 'boring' standard weapons.

I agree about the cluster bomb, I seem to remember it dealing a lot more damage in the original.
