Even though Halo 3 is heading to the Xbox 360 this Fall, PC gamers will just be getting their first taste of Halo 2 next month. And, as an added bonus, those PC gamers who buy Halo 2 on Vista will get something Xbox gamers didn't, achievements. MyGamerCard.net discovered all 41 achievements for Halo 2 Vista that range from progressing in the single player campaign to all kinds of multiplayer honors. would be cool of Bungie to include these as an update for halo2 on the 360. although i would prefer is they 1st upgraded the graphics of the game, just a simple update that could make the game render natively at 720p is all i ask for.

100 for beating it on Normal, but only 50 for Hard and Legendary.... odd.
I'll be getting it, since the achievements seem easy enough, and the whole live for windows interface is great.

Does that mean if we buy Halo 2 for PC, we can earn achievements which will be added to our Xbox gamerscore accounts?

Thats a good question, I was wondering the same thing.
While it may just be me, I always secretly hope some game company will tell you how many people you actually killed once you complete the game or what your shooting accuracy was. I want it almost to justify playing a game for so long lol.

Ciaran and Bryan T, it does indeed mean that H2 Vista achievements will be added to your gamerscore. This is a new feature of the Live Anywhere platform. However, you'll need Windows Vista and an Xbox Live Gold account to get the benefit of using the same account on both machines, I believe.

Bungie didn't develop Halo 2 for Vista.

I'm down for the extra achievement points. For anyone who doesn't have Vista yet (probably pretty much everyone), Newegg has the 32 bit Vista Home Premium OEM for sale at $115 with shipping and $125 for the 64 bit. There's not that much difference between Home Premium and Ultimate except the price...I think Ultimate is $199 for the OEM.
