For the low, low price of 250 MS Points you can get your hands on eight new vehicles and six new arenas for the Xbox Live Arcade title Novadrome. Not only can you take this online in the multiplayer mode, but they are featured in a new Career mode as well. So, while the game didn't receive the best of reviews, it still had some merit, if only to remind us of Re-Volt, the Dreamcast title and Xbox Live Beta game of choice. Will you be picking this up, given that you actually have Novadrome?

Hell, no. The last time I played this was the day it came out and I haven't touched it since. Throwing more crap on top of crap doesn't make it smell any better.

Yeah, Novadrome just wasn't that good.
Now, if they announce that they're releasing San Francisco Rush 2049 to LIVE with online multiplayer racing AND BATTLE MODE (from the Dreamcast port).. that I'll pay lots of points for.

If anything, this should be absolutely free content for the game. For a game that sucks and no one bought, well anyone who did doesn't like, except for maybe very few people, and yet they do this.
Nice going microsoft. It's an add on to vehicles that should of already be in the game. All GoW content has been free yet this cost money? Rubbish!
How much all together with this download content would this cost?

Eh, they probably made this content along with the game and took it out so that they could charge for it later. So they may as well release it since it's done and they won't have to pay anything to make it.
However, this does lend to people's fears that content is purposely being stripped so they can charge for it at a later date, as opposed to just having it in the game originally.

I don't think you guys can base terribly much on things that are complete assumptions on your part. Even if 5,000 people bought the game, there's enough justification in trying to put out a 250 point add-on pack. Enough people will buy it that'd be worthwhile for them and it could, perhaps, get new people to bother with the original.
Beyond which, this isn't Microsoft's game. Blame the developer.
