Two new Forza 2 vehicles confirmed

Yesterday, as part of IGN's exclusive Forza 2 coverage, IGN announced two new cars that will be gracing Forza 2's highly detailed tracks. So, let's get into the dirty details. First off, we have the BMW Motorsport M3 featuring over 100 horsepower per liter and a sequential m gearbox transmission. Also announced was the Volkswagen Golf GTi with its fuel stratified charge injection and is rocking an uber flat torque-curve. And yes, we have no clue what the we just said, but we know it sounded good. The newly announced vehicles aren't all that flashy, but are just as pretty and won't put your finances in the red.

4. A Veyron just wouldn't be fair. Fastest land car ever made, just under 1000bhp, >250mph... It would be a great experience to drive one through gaming, however.

5. Although if they added the Barabus TKR and the Koenigsegg CCX, that would level the field slightly.

6. I find it cool that all these European automakers can get over 100hp/liter, and sad that American's can't do it without the aid of a Super- or Turbocharger. :(

8. Insomnious...the Barabus TKR isnt a production car yet. It is still in the desgin phases and hence there is no real proof that it WOULD level the playing field. but the ccx would be able to compete with the veyron. and around corners...i think the ccx would take the veyron just based on power to weight ratio. the ccx has 806hp for 2600 lbs. the veyron has 1001hp (altho production models are rumored to have even more hp) for 4162 lbs.

ccx = 806/2600 = 0.31hp/lb
veyron = 1001/4162 = 0.24hp/lb

and plus the ccx is lighter meaning braking distance is shorter. and i love the ccx way more than the veyron...so if i had the choice...i would always take the ccx.
