Do you love your NASCAR? Do you love your Xbox Live video marketplace? If you answered yes, then you'll be a happy camper this NASCAR season. Starting today, NASCAR will be offering three condensed races a month via the Xbox Live video marketplace. And of course, the racing goodness will be for download in full HD glory. We presume that the downloads will be free as part of NASCAR's Race-Rewind program, but we can't guarantee that. Is anyone a NASCAR fan and excited to be able to download HD racing content off the XBLM?[Thanks, Jonah]

I'll check them out if there free and condensed. NASCAR needs to consider different ways to speed up races, 4 hours is entirely too long.

If they are free, I'll download one to see what it looks like. I hate auto racing. So, it will be a one time thing.

I doubt they'll be free, NASCAR will try to take your money any way they can. I imagine this is the same kind of thing they did last season with the races on Itunes. They only offered a free preview video that was about the history of the Daytona 500 but all the actual season's races you had to pay for.

Haha, I couldnt agree more with you, I also love the fact that a large majority of NASCAR drivers are fat middle-aged men with too much money and not much tallent lol.
But, we shouldn't poke fun at it really, perhaps their is somthing we're missing, a hidden point or somthing, being from the UK I cant really comment in too much depth on it.
I'll back you on the F1 though, excelent stuff, and you genuinly have tallented 'athletic' sportsmen involved in the sport aswell.
I'm also a massive fan of Rally sport, I mean take a look at this clip of the greatest rally driver 'Walter Rohrl' in histories greatest rally car the 'Audi S1 Sport Quattro', the clip looks as if its running at double speed or somthing, but I asure you this is real-time footage, possibly the most exciting motorsport around. Absolutly outstanding car control, you wont find anything like this in ANY other motorsport.

The videos are up, they cost 160 points, and the longest one is 10 minutes. Rip off.

Shouldn't it be "NASCAR gives the green flag to Videos"? Checkered flag means the race is over. Which makes it sound like the pulled the videos off XBLA.
I share everyone else's thoughts exactly. Turning left is not a sport!

Were those people all along the track in the rally video? As usual you tube video quality is poor so I couldn't be sure, but it definitely looked like it. If so I am not sure hwo is more brave, the driver or the fans!

I can't believe people actually sit and watch cars going around in a circle for 4 hours... how boring. Anything but Nascar...

FYI..... NASCAR drivers have to be in great shape to drive. They sit in cars that are 100 degrees plus and their endurance and stamina has to be through the roof. So yes they could be called athletes. With that said. I am not really a huge NASCAR fan but I may check these out.

i'm not that much of a fan of NSACAR races, but I enjoy the tech involved. but as far as the Marketplace, i'm all for ANYTHING that expands the range of content availale, and therefor, more people using it.
that can ONLY be a good thing for our beloved 360 and its online service.

I'm about as excited for this as I am sexualy excited when I see my sister.
The best part about saying that while talking about Nascar is: You don't know if I'm kidding.

I can't believe anyone would prefer F1 to NASCAR.
Yeah maybe they usually only turn left. But at least there is passing in NASCAR. F1 races are won on pole day for the most part.
The Daytona 500 was won by .123 seconds. 27 cars finished on the lead lap. There were literaly thousands of passes for position during the race and for the vast majority of the race packs of over 20 cars were running within a second of each other.
What other auto racing offers that level of actual competition?
Just ask Montoya...

rob...i must agree...rally racing is pretty impressive too.
but if were goin out on a limb like that...i'd like to comment that motorcycle racing is my preference. i'll watch f1; i'll watch the WRC; but what i really look forward to is motogp (starts march 10th), world superbike, and all the road ama races. there aint anything more enjoyable for me than watching ppl rip it up on 2 wheels putting their knee to the ground.
