XBLArcade got the insider's scoop on new XBLA title Pinball FX. The official site for this arcade title is live and this looks to be the long promised 3D pinball game from last year. For features we're loving the Xbox Vision integration, the use of downloadable content, and head-to-head multiplayer mode. It's just like playing with a friend at the local bowling alley. This could be a fun title, but that is highly dependent on the price. Our sweet spot would be around 600 Microsoft points ... and yes we're cheap. Make the jump for a full feature list and additional screenshots, but be sure not to tilt the machine ... it's very touchy.

hmm, I never thought about a pinball game. This might be the first arcade game I purchase ever. Only because its the type of game that really has no goals, and you can just pick-up and play for 5 mins then stop. I like it :)

Hummm. Flippers on the triggers. Could work.

Flippers using the Xbox Live Vision camera? I hope it isn't as asstastic as Totem Ball was. Thank God it's optional.
At least you can taunt your opponents with the cam. ;)

That's where the Xbox Live Vision camera comes into play if you're using it.

This has great potential for downloadable content. I mean....
Game themed machines. Kameo, Oblivion, Banjo-Kazooie, they could make some great extra machines if they took full advantage of Arcade.
...The shortage of UNO theme decks, however, has me worried that nobody will ever develop enough customizable content to appease my needs.
And no, EA, I don't mean unlocking shit already on the disc or having "video walkthroughs" on my hard drive.

Oh yeah... I've been looking forward to this for a while!
Why is there so little interest in pinball these days? I've called arcades all over the place and nobody has any real machines. WTF?!
