Halo 3 development is moving swimmingly

Frankie's Bungie Weekly Update was posted last night and it sheds light on a few nuggets of info. First, Frankie discusses how fast Halo 3 is changing daily like new lighting effects being placed, new art, textures, particles, it must be amazing to see the progress. Testing every aspect of the game is moving along, from multiplayer to the numerous levels of difficulty on the campaign settings. Oh, and Frankie's pretty water is going to be dropped into the build soon ... he's already salivating from the anticipation. Finally, we get confirmation that those lovely multiplayer awards (double kill, killtacular, etc.) are coming back in full force. Every single one from Halo 2 plus brand new ones and possibly a few easter egg awards. Only nine months or so until release ... man do we need a spring beta ASAP.

I still swear by November

November for Halo 3
November for Super Smash Bros Brawl
November for Metal Gear Solid 4

Thus the big 3 will try to spite each other's heaviest hitters, the killer apps for each console in 2007 (plus those 3 titles are all most likely in similar development stages)

Yep - because of course Metal gear solid 4 and halo 3 are at simmilar development stages.... Bungie are nearly finished the campagin and multiplayer modes..... and..... kojima has made a few nice trailers.

Yep, i fully expect MGS4 to land in 2007 *sarcastically*

metal gear solid will be a crappy game, if koji didn't spend all the time making trailers, we'd have something to see but i guess not. plus, it isn't a multiplayer game like super smash or halo 3 are which means that we are looking at a much narrower market range. overallit really comes down to one question:
WHO WOULD WIN IN A REAL FIGHT, MARIO AND YOSHI VS. SNAKE AND RAIDEN VS. MASTERCHEIF AND A COVENANT ELITE?

personally, i think that masterchief and an elite would rape everyone

I suspect Halo 3 will be out in July, probably on the 7th. That'll make the release 07/07/07, and considering how much Bungie loves those 7's that release is likely.
