Our brothers in arms over at Gamertag Radio (also running a cool Bullet Witch contest, by the way) have posted some 'effing amazing shots of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2. Seriously, if we hadn't already seen how nice the first GRAW turned out, we wouldn't have bought these screenies for a minute. Just look at the smoke. Look at it! Head on over to GTR and check 'em out. You'll even get a chance to check out the European cover for the game, which isn't nearly as exciting as the actual screen shots.
Any GRAW fans chomping at the bit to get this yet?

The explosions are 'meh,' but I'm impressed in the all around improvement of... everything! The game looks fantastic... looks like I'll be upgrading my copy of GRAW at launch :)

The question is, will the multiplayer use the cover system?

This better have online (co-op the entire game) like ranbow 6 vegas or it will flop. There is no reason that it should not have it. Next-gen we will see!

The bigger question is: Will this game use the same graphic engine for single and multi player?
GRAW, SC:DA and RS:V both have an impressive looking solo mode but at the same time they all feature a far less detailed and imho lower-res textured online mode.
Gears of War and Lost Planet for example have the same controls and the same look, so why is this not possible in a next-gen Tom Clancy game?

I agree with mAdAk (sorry AL7AIR).
The gameplay matters more than the graphical effects- and the lack of the cover system in multiplayer didn't make sense last time, and after succesful implementations in R6:V and Gears, there's no excuse not to have it. If it doesn't, then hello bargain bin purchase.

Weak.
Let me know when they actually have co-op multiplayer in the story driven campaign - say a 2x4 team (2 players with 3 men to control each)-Alpha and Bravo team (Like Full Spectrum Warriors). Controllable Vehicles that are driven.

I'll buy it being a big GR fan and having loved the original GRAW, but I don't expect any earth shattering improvements. Graphics have taken a little bump upwards and we'll probably see improved team AI along with the revamped depth Cross Com abilities.
My money is on them not having the cover system in MP, mAdAk.

Meh for me as well... Looks bland with nothing but desert sand everywhere.. The explosions and smoke aren't the most impressive I've seen.. Lost Planet.. Seems more like a money grab and less like putting a great NEW game out. This is nothing but the same thing in the desert.. Give me some real single player campaign Co-Op and a nice cover system(the old cover system was horrible and just plain broke). Ubi needs to look to the R6:V devs to give them a good cover system.

Big question and bigger question ;). Take a look at my last paragraph "same controls and same looks". I couldn't care less about a game that has over the top graphics and rubbish game play. So maybe I just didn't made my self clear enough, because I don't like a game like RS:V for example that builds up a great atmosphere in SP and turns into a simple shooter in MP.
