Dead Rising keeps killing, 1 million sold

Capcom's zombified shopping mall game has sold over 1 million copies since its release. Dead Rising has been out in the US since August 8th and has just broken the 1 million mark in worldwide sales. Hacking and slashing has never been so much fun! But after looking at the sales sucess of games like Gears of War ... it just goes to show that selling a million copies is great, but 2.7 million copies is all the better. Good job Dead Rising, because we're looking forward to a sequel with more zombies, a beefier story, some Live co-op, and a dash of multiplayer. Now get to work Capcom, our demands have been made public.

2. now the question is: of all the copies sold, how many 360 units did Dead Rising brick?

3. Live CO-OP mode would make this game perfect.

4. I wouldn't expect a Dead Rising sequel. Won't capcom's zombie department be beavering away on Resi 5. Personally, I think Dead Rising was a starter before the main meal which is Resi 5. All the issues which DR has will not be made with Resi.

Or am I talking utter tripe and capcom have already announced a DR 2? Lol. :)

5. Well done Dead Rising, you're a fantastic game!
I'm impressed with Gears of War to0, 2.7mil+ sold? Thats amazing, its selling pretty quick. Last time I blinked it was at 2mil!

6. Capcom is a big company, I'm sure they've been working on RE5 for a while now, certainly during Dead Rising's development.

I hope for round 2 they add Live co-op, better audio dialogue, drastically improve the character models, get rid of the load times (they're not bad, but progressively loading the mall so there's no breaks would make the world seem less broken up), and of course add even more weapons.

I'm not sure what setting I would want, but it would be hard to beat a mall. Maybe a resort beach town with zombie sharks.

7.
god i love dead rising, even with the bad text i still enjoy the odd walk in the park with my trusty sledgehammer. give me live CO-OP! i can only dream of the fun as a friend and i slice and bash our way through hordes of zombies with no exit behind us (if you have been to the underground driving range you will know what i mean)

8. I also love Dead Rising, there is just something about it's atmosphere and premise that really "speaks" to me. It's not perfect, no, but I don't care, it wass the first game in a long time that made me feel as if there was still "more" to be seen in videogames.

9. I want multiple saves. Save points is fine, but I want MULTIPLE SAVES, dammit.
