2. I don't think it's right to make the people who paid full price when the game was released pay extra for the Co-op. The people who waited till the game is at a "platinum hits" price are paying less and getting more. It's just not right!

4. I'd pay no more than 5 bucks for co-op for it since I beat the game on all of the 'endings' and everything months ago. I'd love new costumes, clothes and weapons to accompany the co-op download however!

Regardless I can't do $hπt right now as my system bricked up Saturday and I'm waiting for Microsoft to send me the box..

Why would Capcom spend any extra time on the original title now? I'd imagine the extra money/man-power would be better spent on the sequel.

Unless the co-op code was partially done like Kameo.

10. Hold on while I pick my jaw off the floor... CoOp for Deadrising !?! HELL YEAH!!!

I would pay $5 for it, but Capcom is a great company and I could see them adding this for free; unless they have some other extra's they plan to bundle with it. Just because many have played the game, doesn't mean everyone has. CoOp adds more incentive to those who haven't purchased it yet. I will chalk this up to rumor right now, but the April fools theory is BS. @3 - Why even comment douchebag! The game is one of the top AAA titles on the 360. This title is a perfect example of why the 360 isn't all about FPS/Shooters!!

12. Everyone is convinced this is an April Fools joke? In the same article the writer says that downloadable content is coming for Gears. How come nobody is calling that an April Fools joke? Is it because Epic is on record saying we can expect downloadable content in the near future? If Epic can, why can't Capcom? Nobody called bullshit when Shivering Isles rumours started surfacing, and this is real close to that. More gameplay that can be bought by downloading or in store; Bethesda is doing it, so don't be shocked when Capcom does it too.

15. I wish they would have Co-op. :( It's one of things I wish they had in there before. Plus a better save system (man that is horrible).

If DR got Co-op, It would be like Crackdown, except where instead of tag teaming, flying 30 feet in the air with a rocket launcher, you both attack with chainsaws and help stupid AI. :) Good times right there.

17. i hate march/april when it comes to gameing news. In the past, I used to play practical jokes on people on april first only. Now, it seems for 2 months every publication seems to post false information and consideres it "a joke"?

I just dont see how giving false information is a joke?

And co-op for dead rising now would be dumb. Would be much better for a dead rising 2 with co-op to be announced.

18. I'd definitely pay for it.
I bought my 360 recently, and when playing the game, I thought "Damn... why no co-op? It must be a bitch to code (100 zombies to locate and send to your pal), but it would just rule".

Another idea that I had was a Phoenix Wirght suit (blue suit, spiky hair), with a "OBJECTION!" weapon who kicks down every zombie in a 50-meter radius while showing the speech bubble all over the screen. It wouldn't be useful for people who haven't finished the game (if you can use it only once), and have a fun factor over... a lot.
