Forza 2 allows aspiring artists to go crazy on their cars with numerous customization options and photoshop'esque layers. And Zonks took full advantage of the customization features by creating a
South Park car featuring our favorite four kids from Denver. It's very well done indeed.
We know
Forza 2 has only been out for a few days, but we'd like to see how you've customized your racer. Have you gone old school and added some flames? Or did you decorate it based on some sort of theme? We'd like to see your customized car creations, so we'll sit in a circle and have a little show and tell session. Okay, now you go first.

If you don't want to be limited to Circuit City's free
$20 video game deal, then you may want to check out Best Buy's
Forza 2 offer. From now until June 26th, Best Buy is offering a free $10 gift card to anyone who purchases
Forza 2 in-store or online at BestBuy.com. To cash in on the deal, simply add
Forza 2 and the $10 gift card to your shopping cart or print off this coupon (PDF link) and take it into your local Best Buy.
A free gift card or a free game with a
Forza 2 purchase makes our heart sing. The only other thing that we can think of that would make our
Forza 2 experience better would be a price drop on that wireless racing wheel. Wait a second, that already
happened didn't it? All the better!

This week at Circuit City online or in-store, when you purchase either
Shadowrun or
Forza 2 you get a free Xbox 360 game valued at $19.99. It's a pretty good deal seeing that Circuit City's rival Best Buy doesn't offer any incentive to buy either game. Though, you'll be hard pressed to find a good 360 game for $20 as we only could dig up games like
Cars, Rockstar's
Table Tennis,
The Outfit, and (shudder)
Bomberman: Act Zero in that price range. But, it's a free game for purchasing a game you already wanted to purchase ... you game to purchase?

Over on the
Forza Motorsport 2 forums members are investigating a way to change the 360 racing wheel's force feedback in the
Forza 2 demo. Currently, the
Forza 2 demo does not allow customizable racing wheel options, but the
Colin McRae DiRT demo does allowing players to change various settings. And, as such, some forum members are reporting that the
DiRT demo's force feedback settings magically transfer over to the
Forza 2 demo. So, if you're feeling the need for more force feedback in
Forza 2, fire up
DiRT, customize your racing wheel options and see if it helps your
Forza 2 demo situation. Although, all this confusion could be avoided if Microsoft would integrate some sort of racing wheel options menu through the dash. You hear us Microsoft?

As
Forza Motorsport 2 heads to retailers on May 29, Microsoft has
slashed slightly reduced the price of the Wireless Racing Wheel to $129.99 (normally $149.99). Yes, for the price of a DS Lite, you can experience true force feedback in your favorite racing titles. There are plenty of other special events planned around the release of
Forza 2, including Xbox Live contests, developer play sessions, and a leaderboard tournament.
So, with a marginally reduced price, is anyone out there ready to take the plunge and pick up the wheel?

With the demo having been
available on Xbox Live Marketplace for the last 5 hours, we've got even more good news for you.
Forza 2 has gone gold and will also be hitting store shelves on May 29th for $59.99. Finally, the flagship title for the Racing Wheel accessory will be available for gamers
champing at the bit. But, that leaves the obvious question, which will you be picking up,
Forza Motorsport 2, or
Shadowrun? After all they've got the same date and price point.

The wait has been longer than
expected,
much longer than expected, but the
Forza 2 demo will be available in a few hours. Over on the official
Forza 2 forums, community VIP chespace has confirmed that the
Forza 2 demo will be available for download off the XBLM today at 2:00AM pacific (5:00AM eastern). And yes your math is correct, that's less than three hours from this posting. So racing fans, it's time to pull an all nighter. Grab your force feedback steering wheel, get real comfortable, and pop open a few cans of your favorite caffeinated soda. It's a countdown to
Forza 2 guys ... get excited!

The clamor for the
Forza 2 demo is reaching herculean heights these days. Quite simply, racing fans are frothing for the game, and understandably so. Take heart,
Forza fanatics, for new information is upon us. In a recent forum post, Turn 10 community manager, Che Chou, has revealed that "good news" about the demo should be revealed sometime today. He adds, "It's coming sooner than you think." Dare we dream that we'll see the demo this week? Perhaps even ...
today?

While waiting for a
certain demo to drop we advise giving the
Forza 2 achievements a look over. Over at Achieve360Points they posted a complete list of all 44 in all their glory, including four secretly secret achievements. And we must say, our favorites have to be the "All Cars From" achievements for France, Korea and Spain. Those achievements are only worth one little gamerscore point ... we guess foreign cars aren't cool enough to have a normal amount of gamerscore points. Though, we have mad respect for the "All Cars From Sweden" achievement, they must have lobbied hard for their gamerscore worth.

Team 10's own audio test lead Joel Robinson is a huge
Forza fan (rightfully so, he did help create the game) and in preparation
Forza 2's release he created one expensive gaming setup. As you can see above, Joel hooked up three 40" 720p screens creating an immersive racing cockpit view featuring a full 180 degree view. Not only that, but he also installed a racing seat with butt-kickers, a 5.1 surround system, and mounted the 360 force feedback steering wheel and pedals. Yes, his gaming setup is a little messy right now, but he promises to clean it up and add a few final touches. But we highly doubt you'll notice the clutter when you have your eyes glued to the three screens racing it out in
Forza 2. Isn't life grand?

We knew a
Forza 2 demo was coming to the Marketplace in April, but have been left in the dark to what exactly will be included. In Friday's Pit Pass the Turn 10 team revealed that the April demo is being developed alongside the actual game and will include 24 different cars from various car classes. What will be missing is any sort of online multiplayer or customization, features you'll only get with a $60 purchase. The Pit Pass also hints at in-game video footage that will be making its way through the inter-tubes sometime this week from two different media sources. And, for all you crazy car audio fans out there, you'll be pleased to know that
Forza 2's dev team has gone above and beyond. Seriously, listen to this stuff from the game. It's like heaven, but in audio form.
With
Forza 2's release creeping closer and closer be prepared for one crazy media blowout. Grab your steering wheels with an iron grip, because it's going to get exciting.

Microsoft has confirmed last week's
rumor that a
Forza 2 demo will arrive soon. Unfortunately, no specific dates have been confirmed, though a date should be announced "in the coming weeks." Also revealed was the next installment of
Forza 2's ever expanding car list. The latest editions are "Aftermarket Tuner Car Classics." These cars cover a broad range of makes and models from 1992 all the way to 2006. The makes listed run the gamut from Acura to Honda to Chevrolet. See the full "Aftermarket Tuner Car Classics" list after the break.
