Developer Triumph Studios promises that the sequel "massively increases the scope of the original concept," being a much more realistic, less fantasy driven Overlord where players will encounter political problems and environmental issues all while remaining true to Overlord's unique style of Minion commanding humor. Fart jokes included. And, heck, the sequel looks much prettier too. We can't wait!

Just picked the original up on amazon for $20. If anybody else wants to try the first one, it's pretty cheap.

cant wait to club that baby seal.
The first was a lot of fun, and I didnt run into any of the games bugs but I hope they have a bigger budget and more time with this one.

I heard it was good, only played the demo though. Wasn't there co-op added later, or was it competitive multiplayer?

Never did go back to get the Evil Achievement. Just not my thing. What I really DO need to do is play through that extra content I bought while wrapping up the game. It seemed like something you needed to get to well before the end of the game...

Awesome. I haven't actually played the 1st game, but I loved the demo so I'm planning on getting it sometime this year. Knowing a 2nd game is coming is good news for sure
