Video: Fresh Gears of War 2 footage from Gamestop Convention

Coming straight from the Las Vegas Gamestop Convention is a bloody new Gears of War 2 video that showcases some never before seen gameplay footage as well as minute or so of story-rich cut scene cinematics. We embedded the new Gears 2 video above (sadly, it was filmed off-screen) and is both introduced and closed by the one and only Cliff Bleszinski. Enjoy the watch and tell us what you think.

Wasn't much new footage there. These out of touch jagoffs are probably just seeing this Gears stuff for the first time. I hate Gamestop, its employees, its share holders, and most of all - its customers.

If I have to hear that moron go "eeeeaaaahhhh" and clumsily clap his flippers together one more time I'm going to drink a bottle of hemlock.

Sure there's the disappointment of viewing some of the same footage over. Sure its annoying to hear Gamestop Employees yell as if it was the first time they'd seen some of it (and for some it probably was). And yes, they were in Vegas, getting paid to do what we love to do for free. Sure, Gamestop can't understand their bad reputation when they offer you $15 for a game you just bought for $60 and then sell it to your neighbor for $50. Sure, on almost any given day most of us know more than the person behind the counter but feel compelled to ask just to see what they'll say. Wait, now I'm pissed too! lol But I digress.

Lets find some common ground here: Gears 2 will be here soon and we'll all be playing it! And the sooner some of you are playing it, the better chance you won't kill everyone in your workplace in a shooting spree.

Man thats lame, you know their are a whole bunch of people in this audience that are probably seeing some of this stuff for the first time. Alot of this stuff should not be any surprise.

I guess i just feel that some of these managers should be on the upbeat of all things games, considering thats what the company is about.
I guess I just feel irritated when I know more about a particular subject then someone who is paid to know about that given subject.

does that make any sense?

It's always weird to see the GameStop bashing when I'm on any site. You guys must have some pretty fucked up ones nearby you.

Just sucks to hear all of you regurgitating the same BS when I myself, am a manager of one. I unlike some managers, keep myself very informed and check sites like X3F daily to stay ahead of my clientele. I require my staff do the same. Ask any of us any game-related question at our location and we'll tell you way more than you need to know.

I yelled at the convention. Am I an idiot now? I was just excited over the game, plus the fact that he gave us a free copy.

Seriously though, quit crying ffs. No one has you at our stores anyways. You have to remember that not all GS employees are idiots. You're just in the wrong location.
