Love 'em or hate 'em, it's impossible to say that UK retailer HMV doesn't offer some good gaming deals. Their recent GTAIV offer is proof of that. So, it should be no surprise that HMV is offering up a pretty convincing Microsoft points bribe to customers who are interested in Ninja Gaiden II this June. A 1000 Microsoft point bribe. That's right, anyone who ends up fulfilling their Ninja Gaiden II fix at HMV will score a redemption code for 1000 free MS points to use however they choose. And get free shipping too. Love 'em or hate 'em ... 1000 free points is a 1000 free points.

If I lived there I would preorder it for 5 bucks and score 13 worth of points, then skip out on the preorder. I did that with GH3 for the free leather guitar straps at Best Buy. Preordered 2, redeemed one. Way to play.

UK pre-orders are different. This is an online deal for one, meaning you get the full 1000 points when your game arrives. I got this deal with GTAIV. You don't just put down a partial fee and collect the 1000 point card instantly.

actually found it cheaper at www.game.co.uk - total is £31.99 when u use this code "modgamer" [knocks £3 off the £35.00 price] :D

this price works out better than the HMV deal with 1000 points [factoring in the reward card points aswell - £1.75 worth].

either deal is good IMO, just the 'GAME' deal works out better for regular 'GAME' customers.

plus i can get 2100Microsoft Points for £13.99 [similar to the price the americans pay for points via Live - not retail deals].
