Hrm I got 100 free points but it looks like the only things you can get for that little is OXM Demo discs and the BK games. PDZ is 250

Been using Goozex for about 5 months now - got a ton of my old games out to people that actually wanted them and was able to trade for a few high end games as well - though you'll have to wait quite a while if you want the newest (i.e. CoD4) but UnrealIII came within a week of requesting it, as did the new Zelda game.
Great service - the more people that sign up the merrier.

goozex is pretty good as a service, the prices are fair for used games and will allow you to trade your game for something of equal popularity or age. They use a supply/demand algorithm to determine the prices and you will typically get more credit from them than at like an eb/gs. I have used it for 4 or 5 trades now and even though I had an issue with one, they helped resolve it. The only problem I have had is that if you put up a game for trade, if there are a ton of them it could be months before its traded and by then the game value could drop significantly.

I am an avid Goozex user. I am highly active in their forums (probably the most mature gaming forums on the internet). I found the site this past July. Since then, I have sent out almost every old game I have and some new 360 titles. I have recieved several hot new titles including Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise, and Army of Two (usually within a month of release). I highly recommend this site to anyone who trades games at EB/Gamestop or eBay.

The site has apparantly raised prices in the last few months(see above). The below link to the forum is hardly evidence of maturity, to attack someone who questioned the value of the site. Note: this was the first post I read on the forum. http://www.goozex.com/community/forums/t/20264.aspx#55462

I don't get what you mean by raised prices? It still costs the same $1 a trade. If you are saying they raised prices on the purchase of points, my question would be why are you putting cash into a game trading website?
That whole post was a guy complaining about having to put cash into a game trading website. You don't have to put in cash, infact that would totally negate the purpose of the site.
As for people being immature about it. Walk into Best Buy and start yelling about how it sucks, walk into a Church and start yelling its all lie, walk into anywhere and complain about what they do there and you will get the same response. The fact is the guy didnt try the serivce and made completely ignorant statements and got less then satisfactory responses.

Seb656, I think what he's referring to is that they raised the maximum point value that a game could have, meaning that anyone sitting on points lost value.
For instance, you trade in Mass Effect for 1000 points with the intention of getting Assassin's Creed for 1000 points. So you trade in Mass Effect and get your 1000 points, then they raised the cap so Assassin's Creed is now worth 1200 points, and you can't afford it. You traded in a game for the maximum value, but now that is actually only worth 80% of the maximum value.
Nonetheless, what GoBob is leaving out is that after most users thought the change was for the worse, Goozex decided to change it back to appease everyone, unlike certain other large corporations out there who completely ignored the outcry against their awful new policies (*cough* ebay's February changes *cough*).

Don't know anything about about Goozex but I listen to Uncle Gamer Radio and Achievement Junkie podcasts from them. They are pretty good (of course not up to par with the X3F podcast. That'd be impossible!) and enjoyable.

I've used Goozex since October, and love it. 21 games out, 29 games in, lots of older stuff that would be hard to find in good condition at Gamestop, let alone trade for a decent amount there, and all without the hassle of buying/selling stuff on ebay. Outside of a couple of trades everything I've gotten was in like-new shape, or even brand new in a couple of cases. Well worth joining up, we've all got games sitting around collecting dust...

I've been a Goozexer (goozexite?) for about 6 months now. It's a pretty good service. I've had one bad trade (dude never sent the game), but they refund your points as soon as you file negative feedback, so it didn't impact me any. It's not a good way to get games if you're in a hurry, but it's nice to have it ticking over in the background, and occassionally, a game will turn up in the mail.
Certainly a damnsite better deal than paying Ebay and Paypal fees, or getting shafted on value at a bricks'n'mortar store.

I am a goozex user and the service works great. Trade your games, get points and use those points to get other games. I have never had a problem with the system. It is a great alternative to trading your games into Gamestop or EBgames. Too bad this offer isn't available for current users.

I want an elite, but I'm not signing up for this site. I use Gamefly. I'm not sending my games to somebody else for them to ruin.
