In the above clip, Attack of the Show's own Kevin Periera thought it would be a good idea to put his expert Rock Band skills to the test. While meeting up with Coheed and Cambria during their Linkin Park support tour, Periera was challenged to take his new found drumming skills and apply them to a legit kit during a play through session of Welcome Home.
So how did Periera stack up using his gaming skills? He completely nails the track! We're not sure if Periera's got a drumming background, but if it's been a strict diet of Rock Band, color us impressed!

Yeah I've seen that earlier show too where he played drums. That's probably why he can do Rock Band at Expert with 98% on Welcome Home. Still cool none the less his real life skills.

Kevin was also in a band before AOTS (any show on G4/TechTV for that matter).

Yeah, that's definitely not Rock Band alone, but it does give you basic drumming skills. I was pretty impressed by myself when I went over a friend's house to fuck around on his drumset and I could pull off basic beats and fills. It does help.

Why is he a tool? I actually think he does a decent job on Attack... Now, Adam Sessler is a fucking tool. Sometimes I get the feeling that he doesnt even play games. I only watch xplay for Morgan anyway, ruff ruff!!

I think that if Adam wasn't tied down by G4, he could actually be a very informative and funny person. I wouldn't mind watching some sort of show starring him, but not x-play...

You watch it for Morgan and complain that Sessler doesn't play games? That girl doesn't know squat. She's nothing but a poor replacement for Kate Botello, who actually did play the games.

Yea you're right mblaster but still, shes hot lulz. I honestly think Adam annoys the crap outta Morgan though, is it me or is it written all over her face. I guess when it comes to it people need jobs. In her interview they asked her if she played videogames and she said...
Uhh, yeah sure tetris is a videogame...right?

I like both him and Adam Sessler.
Arbitrarily branding either one a tool is just silly.

Tool or not, He's probably a better drummer, gamer and TV Host than you all.
I'm all for Kevin, he looks like a cool guy anyone can hang with.

Drumming in Rock Band definitely works toward skills with a real kit; after all, it trains limb independence, and that's one of the hardest parts of drumming, going in.

The only beef I got with this guy is the fact that he gets to work very closley with Olivia Munn on a dailey bassis.
Outside of that I think he is a real gamer unlike sessler, who mostly reads from a telepromter.
