If you're a resident of the pristine lands of the UK and are a guaranteed purchaser of
Lost Odyssey, then we have a deal for you. UK retailer
HMV is offering 1000 Microsoft points for free to anyone who pre-orders
Lost Odyssey before the game hits retailers this week. Free MS points that can be used on the sure to be released DLC in the months to come. This offer is not only fourteen times better than the United States'
pre-order bonus, but our European friends also enjoy prettier packaging as well. You lucky monkeys.
[Thanks, Callum Lawrence]

It would be a great deal, except HMV are selling at £40. By the time it comes out, other retailers will be at £30, and 1000 Ms points are £8.50. You can pre-order elsewhere at £32, anyway

What's sad is that Boff actually believes that crap.

What's sad is you don't understand humour. I knew I should have used an exclamation mark!

I think is the most underrated game of the year (of course the year just started)
Critics put the game down for being a traditional turn-based RPG instead of being innovative... but isn't an old school turn based rpg with a next gen makeover what people have been asking for?
With that being said, I'm more of a fan of the Oblivion and Mass Effect style of RPGs and the only turn-based RPG I've played was Super Mario RPG, however, I'm really digging this epic game. I'm about 25 hours in and just started Disc 3.

Agreed. One reviewer said that even though it doesn't innovate, he's happy these kinds of games are still being made. I think it's a shame that hit took such a hit for it's genre (speaking of turn based RPGs as their own genre that is).
It innovated in being adult themed and having side stories, not huge innovation, but at least it's something.
I am loving it at 25 hours (second disc).

Yeh great offer, despite the fact that if you convert £39.99 into dollars, it works out as near enough 80...
Thats 80 dollars for a game!!!
And that's the STANDARD price in the U.K.

For the record, by side stories I mean the text stories (which are really good) not side quests.

Funny story how I found it.
I found a HMV gift card on the floor and I wanted to see if it had an credit, so I went to HMV's site to redeem it (Turns out I can't online ¬¬) and saw the offer so I was like "360FB" :P
Not that anyone cares. lol
