Color us purple and slap us with a leather belt, we've been tricked! Late yesterday, Harmonix decided to switch things up and instead of making their Rock Band DLC announcement on Monday, they decided to move their weekly "big reveal" to Fridays. But that's not the source of the trickery. The trick'nicity comes in with what they announced to be next Tuesday's Rock Band DLC. Harmonix just confirmed that a Nine Inch Nails track pack featuring "March of Pigs", "The Collector" and "The Perfect Drug" will hit the XBLM this coming Tuesday. You seeing the trickery yet? This set of NIN DLC was previously confirmed by OXM back in January, but was supposed to release on March 18th. And last we checked, next Tuesday is February 26th. Tricky Harmonix and their elastic DLC release schedule. Now they're almost forcing us to wonder what March 18th's DLC will bring ... maybe some "Still Alive"?[Thanks, jmurzzy911]

You should do yourself a favor and get Rock Band, then you'll understand.
It was pure brilliance on the part of the advertising people at Harmonix to come out with weekly DLC for the rest of our lives...blogs like this just eat that stuff up, and it turns into more free advertising for the game. BRILLIANT!
March of Pigs is the only "for sure" out of those for me.

It's announced whenever it's coming. How is that bad?
I don't know why they put the Collector on there... Such an awful song. I might consider the other two.

The Collector is far from an awful song.

I can't disagree more. I think With Teeth on a whole is pretty poor (with a couple of OK singles, and ones that are good live), but The Collector... no thanks. I would much rather they pulled something off of another album or even just something off of Year Zero.

I'm so fucking psyched. As some may notice, my own name is derived from Survivalism.

I love NIN and will definitely be buying this DLC. I would rather see some different songs like "Head like a Hole" or "Wish", but I will take what I can get.

I'll grab the NIN Tuesday. I always like the smell of fresh DLC.

I'm not a fan of NIN and this will probably be one of the first weeks where I don't download anything. But, judging from most of the other commenters, it will still get a ton of downloads. That's why I don't get when people whine and moan because the three songs on a given week don't appeal to them. I don't like NIN, but I'm psyched for whenever the Grateful Dead and The Who DLC will hit. Rock Band has something for everybody and they haven't missed a week for DLC yet. I think they're doing a great job.

Yes Grateful Dead! I have been waiting SO patiently for GD, but alas, the wait continues. If the rumors about the March DLC are true it looks like April at the earliest . . . [sigh] . . .
