The original Ninja Gaiden for the first Xbox is known for having some rather strange, albeit powerful, enemies. Over the course of the game, the player goes up against everything from mutant cats to giant insects and ghost fish. Thankfully, Ninja Gaiden II looks to continue the trend starting with the Spider Fiend that was revealed in some of the first media for the game. And now Team Ninja seems to be expanding their monster repertoire into the more traditionally western, with the newest enemy reveal: the werewolf.
The werewolves fit into the Ninja Gaiden canon by simply being fiends, no silver, bite, or full moon required. They're just humans transformed into fiend (humans turned into supernatural creatures through cursing of their blood, according to the wiki) form. As they are still humanoid, the werewolves can be dismembered (see above) and hopefully decapitated. With the recent release of DMC4, this is the next big action game on the horizon, so we can expect the coverage and amount of new screens to increase as the release date approaches.

Well thank god it's another year before I'll be hitting those overpriced books. And the sad part is they won't even be overpriced - I'll just be that damn broke XD
It's not like I'll be needing any silver bullets, hehe.

Level 10 on Devil may cry 4, just seen the achievements for it..and god damn (see "Hell and hell mode") there are some tough ones in there. XD
Combine it with Ninja Gaiden 2, which is no doubt going to be hard and I'm set for a year i think.

Excitement is building, but not for this rehash. I can play Sigma and get the same experience.

Sure, NG and DMC4 are similar... but the 360 is really lacking in straight out action games of this sort and I welcome them, personally. DMC has just become incredibly refined at this point (even if it's not trying much new at all) and NG was just awesome... I'd have no problem picking up both.
I do have to say I'm not sure what I think about this game graphically, though. It's still a while off (and I'm sure in motion it'll get better and better), but all of the shots are almost TOO clean. It makes it look kind of sterile in a lot of ways.

i've yet to see any shots as good as this:

not a fanboy here, just saying that it needs to look like this with the blur in the background. NG2 needs that same blur effect Sigma has or it will always look clean.
