Rock Band gets Kiss, B-52's and Faith No More
This week's Rock Band DLC was just announced over on the official Rock Band forums and we're proud to say that this week we are swimming in DLC waters that are 100% pure master track goodness. A big w00t to that. This week's DLC will be offered a la carte, be priced at 160 Microsoft points per song and include "Roam" by the B-52's, "We Care A Lot" by Faith No More and "Calling Dr. Love" by Kiss. The new DLC should be available for purchase off the XBLM early tomorrow morning when all the true Rock Band night owls will be frantically downloading the new songs. So, until then, watch the bouncing baby in the embedded "We Care A Lot" music video. It reeks of the 80's.

Roam!?!
Geesh, the B-52's have a huge library of songs that would be perfect, and a lot of fun, for ROCK BAND, and they chose Roam!?! It's okay I guess, but Rock Lobster, Devil in My Car, Private Idaho.... or a number of other songs would have been waaay better.

Is it too obvious to ask for 'Love Shack"? Why would you not release the most popular song? I appreciate that they may want people to broaden their musical horizons when looking at a band's catalog but why not let me make that choice? I can imagine 10x more people would buy Love Shack versus any of their other songs...

I was thinking the same thing Muggs. I am surprised that they aren't putting the huge hits up there. When we are all drunk and playing silliness, we want everyone to sing along.

EXACTLY! When I have friends over and want to play, I don't want to tell them, "Hey, I have the B-52's!!" The reply will be, "Awesome! Love Shack will be so much fun to play." "Um...no, it's 'Roam." "Huh?"

cool mix of songs. I don't think I will pick any up... but still I like the variety.

Is the We Care A Lot the original version with Chuck Mosley singing or the remake with Mike Patton on vocals?

Eh...I'll get Calling Dr. Love, but I'd REALLY like to see Love Gun if they're going to put Kiss stuff up.
