Why is this Coheed and Cambria song a cover, when the one that came with the game is a master? That's lame...

Indeed sir.
I'll probably be picking up the Rush cause their stuff is wicked fun to play but I don't care at all for the other 2 songs. There's lots better Pumpkins out there, why this song?

I concur, I find it somewhat rediculous that they couldn't get their hands on the master tracks for Ten Speed.
It was only recorded a few years ago... who put the kibosh on the Pro Tools files? I want answers.

I listen to all kinds of music, so I'm pretty open-minded about music. I find Coheed and Cambria just horrible music. I don't know what it is...but man that's just really bad music.

To each his own I guess, as my favorite bands in order:
1: Coheed and Cambria
2: Everyone else

I can understand why you don't like Coheed. I only like a few songs off of one album (incidentally, it's the one album that Ten Speed and Welcome Home are from). It's definitely not for everyone, and I DEFINITELY don't like most of it.

These are some decent songs (listened to them on youtube, knew Working man), but...
I would like to play stuff from different artists too...or at least some more popular songs. How bout' some Van Halen...Ain't talkin bout love...but then again, this isn't about what I want, it's about what's out this week. I think I will buy Working Man.

I love Rush. Going to go download Working Man right away. I just wish all their songs weren't covers. But at least I get to see them live in May... It's going to be a long few months.

Whether you like Coheed or you hate them (an idea that I can't fathom), you have to agree that this song being covered is just rediculous.
The master tracks are easily accessible. And listening to the cover on youtube just makes me depressed, as the singer is no where near Claudio's level.
I was really looking forward to this, but I can't bring myself to buy it now.

how many damn rush songs does one game need? i don't care if people think they're amazing (which i happen to whole-heartedly disagree with), but let's have some variety. there do exist other bands in the world who make songs that would be great to play.
personally i'd like to see some burn piano island, burn-era blood brothers tracks, but i know that won't be happening since their video game-playing fanbase is probably me, and only me :P
but i've been know to appreciate some classic punk as well. if they can release 1730483 rush tracks, could we maybe get a couple more clash or ramones songs?

I've downloaded several of the new songs for RockBand and am loving the constant release nature of this DLC.
This is exactly what was supposed to happen for Guitar Hero 2 and never materialized. Even the DLC for GH3 is weak compared to the seemingly never ending releases coming out of the RockBand crew.
Of course as we the fans get more used to the amount of new content we start to expect better quality. Some of these covers are barely passable.
