yeah, I'm looking forward to this as well. It's a new take on a fun game-type. Open world stuff is awesome, killing stuff is awesome, and throw in being a bad ass shape-shifting creature. That all adds up to good times.

Was "The Darkness" open world? Because if it was then it sounds like you just described it, and from what i can gather it was pretty underwhelming.
Let's hope Prototype avoids a similar fate.

Well, Darkness wasn't really open world. It was more linear, but I could see where you might think that. I thought The Darkness was a really fun game. I had a great time with that game.This looks nothing like the Darkness though.
Looks like you can go pretty much anywhere (Crackdown?), with a cool twist on gaining more strength (consumption of dead enemies!), and parkour style abilities (Assassin's creed?).
I'm excited and interested to see what will come of this game.

That game is going to be awesome. It almost looks like it's a in-the-future Assassin's Creed with shapeshifting and a lot more gore. Just what I've been looking for.

read the game informer cover story a while back, game looked awesome then, looks even better now. though i must admit, they haven't sold me on the idea that there is going to be any sort of compelling story to this...
still, one to keep an eye on.
