Yes, the new year has been in effect for an entire three days, but honestly we're only just starting to get over the holiday madness. For instance, we still haven't played Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed, a fact made readily apparent in our best of 2007 lists. We're pretty sure that lots of other gamers out there have a lot of catching up to do, so we figured this week would probably be a good time to recommend doing just that. Frankly, we still have to play Overlord for crying out loud. With this theme of catching up on missed games we ask: what will you be playing this weekend?

Have to finish Bioshock, AC, Orange Box, Forza 2, Call of Juarez ( com'on it was only 8 bucks!!), Work on Blue Dragon over the next few months. Hopefully I can finish all of these up before any new releases. Oh and Ace Combat which I have had since launch and still haven't opened! I need a snow storm that forces me to stay indoors for two weeks!!! That would help!

I just started Mass Effect just last night and honestly canNOT wait to get home and start back into it! I had a binge of Blue Dragon over the holiday break, which was great, but it is refreshing to get some 3-person shooter action to go with my RPG in ME. I've still gotta get back to Assassin's Creed at some point as well (I'm 3 assassinations into it). I think the game is what it is: a gorgeous game that is unlike most any other gameplay, but it does have its downfalls for sure.

I finished Overlord last week. The camera can get a bit annoying, but the game is worth checking out. I will be finishing Conan this weekend, or whoring out for some easy achievements with TMNT.

Just finished my first Mass Effect play though and started my seconded to gather up some more achievments. Picked up The Darkness for $13 from Gamefly so I'll start on that if Mass Effect gets old.
