So, Xbox Live is 5IVE and its North American birthday is coming next Thursday and it'll be partying hard ... online, of course. The Frag Dolls will be online playing some old-school GRAW and others are being being asked to dust off their copy of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and game all night. As you can tell, it's going to be a mellow affair, but Xbox Live isn't all that old yet and we're just glad we didn't have to throw a Barney themed party. But just you wait Xbox Live until your 21st, because we'll be hitting the streets with controllers in hand and Frag Dolls on each arm ... just wait.

I remember the Beta Days... like they were... five years ago.
Before the Internet Dickwad Theory truly took hold.

I like to not think of things in 16 years (XBL turning 21). Mostly because I'll be 45.

They should put out the Fall Update on that date to commemorate it.

X3F is really slow on news, seriously. I posted it on my 360 blog yesterday.
http://www.the360blog.com/2007/11/06/xbox-live-turns-5-nov-15th/
Check out the blog, were just starting and hope to become an X3F "Worth Reading" Website sometime in the future.

Well at least we will finally be in the Nintendo Wii demographic.
And that folks is about the ONLY time you will read a slam on a system. And this is only a joke at that.

Wes,
Call me crazy but is calling out X3F really a good way to get yourself listed on the Worth Reading section?
See, I think it would get you on the D-Bag list but hey...maybe that's just me.

Ah yes, the days of playing Unreal on XBL back then.
Some people actual complain about the fact that they have to pay $49 per year. I feel that's the steal of the decade and I appreciate the fact MS hasn't raised that price in 5 years.
