WRUP: licking wounds edition

So, we lost to GTR. Perhaps you've heard. The air in X3F towers is a whirl of emotions right now. Shame, anger, sadness, and, strangely, arousal. We may be down, but we are far from out. So, we've been playing a little Halo 3, trying to regain some dignity. Just know this, it's not over, and even if it is, we're not bitter. No, not at all. Not even a little bit. And we are sleeping just fine. Anyway, what will you be playing this weekend?

22. Cheer up fanboys, you'll have plenty of chances to kick our butts in the future. Honestly, what are the odds that someone won't make a game that you're actually good at? Haha, I just can't be nice, it's a flaw and I'm working on it.

23. Maybe a little Halo 3 if no friends are online. Team Fortress 2 will definitely get some playtime and a buddy has some new, killer Far Cry maps ready to go. Far Cry may be 18 months old and not the greatest game available but the mapmaker puts Forge to shame and keeps this game alive. Everyone should give it a shot.

24. I just bought "upgraded" my 360 to a Wii60 so I think it'll be a mix of halo 3 and the wii sports thing I've always heard about, lol. May go out and rent Zelda or something.

25. I'll be rolling around in Beautiful Katamari probably with a return to some Halo 3 matchmaking at some point.

The dvd drive in my xbox may be on the way out though. It gave me the 'Please insert this game into an xbox 360' error screen a couple of times the other day. I may need to send this launch puppy in before Mass Effect hits, huh?

27. Halo 3:
Checklist:
-Find last three golden skulls (The Storm, Floodgate and The Ark)**by the way I heard that one or more of these will "disappear" if you get to a certain checkpoint before you find it. True or False?**
-Beat the game on Legendary Co-op
-Mongoose Mowdown achievement-last online achievement-(going to be much harder now that I'm a 36 in Lone Wolves)
-at least 2 meta game achievements

Busy, busy.

28. I probably shouldn't play anymore Half-Life 2...

A couple of days ago I heard a beep from a walkie-talkie and I immediately thought about pulling out a gun.

Today, I was at a retail store and there were a group of employees with walkie-talkies chattering away.

Instantaneously, I began to think about punting an explosive barrel at them.

Damn, the Combine and their super-human soilders, I am losing a grip on reality.....Outbreak, outbreak, outbreak!!!
